## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Walmart Products Scraper

### What is Walmart Products Scraper and how does it work?

**Walmart Products Scraper** is an Apify Actor that extracts structured product data from a single Walmart.com product page.

Paste a Walmart product URL, configure a proxy, and run the Actor. It fetches the page with a browser-like HTTP client, reads the product data Walmart embeds in the page, and stores **one result** in the default dataset. You can download it from the dataset or pull it through the Apify API.

Walmart product URLs look like this:

```text
https://www.walmart.com/ip/BHG-FAUX-DRIED-LEAF/19526363005
```

The host must be `www.walmart.com` and the path must be `/ip/product-name/product-id`. Query strings (e.g. `?classType=REGULAR`) are allowed.

> This Actor scrapes **product detail pages**, not search or category pages. To scrape many products, run it once per product URL.

### Why scrape Walmart products?

- **Price monitoring**: current price, was-price, rollback flag, and unit price
- **Rating analysis**: average rating plus exact 5★–1★ counts
- **Review insights**: Walmart's AI review aspects, top reviews, and the top positive and negative reviews
- **Seller intelligence**: first-party vs marketplace seller, seller ID, offer count
- **Catalog enrichment**: UPC, brand, specifications, images, category path, return policy

### What data can Walmart Products Scraper extract?

| Data | Fields |
| --- | --- |
| Identity | `product_id`, `upc`, `product_url`, `input`, `source` |
| Title & brand | `product_title`, `product_brand`, `product_type` |
| Pricing | `product_price`, `product_original_price`, `currency`, `unit_price`, `shipping_cost`, `is_rollback` |
| Location | `country`, `delivery_location` |
| Ratings | `product_rating_average`, `product_ratings_amount`, `product_rating_5_stars_amount` … `product_rating_1_stars_amount`, `product_reviews_with_text_amount` |
| Merchandising | `product_availability`, `product_num_offers`, `is_best_seller`, `sales_volume` |
| Seller | `seller_name`, `seller_id`, `seller_type` |
| Content | `about_product`, `product_description`, `product_information` |
| Reviews | `customers_say`, `review_aspects`, `top_reviews`, `top_positive_review`, `top_negative_review` |
| Media | `product_photo`, `product_photos`, `product_videos` |
| Other | `product_variations`, `category_path`, `return_policy`, `fetched_at` |

**Pricing note:** if Walmart shows no was/list price, `product_original_price` equals `product_price` (no discount).

**Review objects** contain `id`, `author`, `rating`, `title`, `text`, `reviewed_at`, `verified_purchase`, `incentivized`, `helpful_votes`, and `photos`.

### How many results can you scrape?

Each run scrapes **one product URL** and writes **one dataset item**. To scrape more products, start more runs via the API, Schedules, or Integrations.

### How much will it cost?

Cost depends on compute, proxy traffic, and retries. Run a few product URLs first, note the cost per run, and multiply by the number of products you plan to scrape.

### Is it legal to scrape Walmart?

Scraping **publicly available** product data such as titles, prices, and ratings is generally considered legal. Review Walmart's terms and your own compliance requirements. See Apify's post on the [legality of web scraping](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/).

### How do I scrape a product on Walmart?

1. Open **Walmart Products Scraper** in Apify Console
2. Paste a Walmart product URL into `url`
3. Keep the default proxy (Apify residential, US) or pick your own
4. Click **Start**
5. Open the **Dataset** tab when the run finishes

#### Tips

- Walmart blocks datacenter traffic aggressively. Residential US proxies work best.
- "Robot or human?" bot-check pages are detected and retried automatically (default up to 4 attempts).
- Prices, shipping, and availability can depend on the delivery ZIP code Walmart assigns to the proxy IP (see `delivery_location`).

### Input

| Field | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |

### Integrations

Connect Walmart Products Scraper to Make, Zapier, Slack, Google Sheets, Airbyte, GitHub, and more through [Apify integrations](https://apify.com/integrations), or trigger actions with [webhooks](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/webhooks) when a run finishes.

### Using the Apify API

Run the Actor and fetch results programmatically with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), using [`apify-client`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/apify-client) for Node.js or [`apify-client`](https://pypi.org/project/apify-client/) for Python. See the **API** tab for code examples.

### FAQ

#### Does it scrape search or category pages?

No. Only `www.walmart.com/ip/product-name/product-id` URLs are accepted.

#### Why is `customers_say` null?

Walmart only sometimes shows a written review summary. The per-topic highlights are always returned in `review_aspects` when Walmart has them.

#### What happens when Walmart shows "Robot or human?"

The page is missing the product title and ID, so the Actor treats it as a bot check, retries, and fails the run if every attempt is blocked. Switching to residential proxies usually fixes it.

# Actor input Schema

## `url` (type: `string`):

HTTPS Walmart product URL. Host must be www.walmart.com and the path must be /ip/product-name/product-id.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Select Apify Proxy groups/country or provide custom proxy URLs. Walmart blocks datacenter traffic aggressively, so residential US proxies are recommended. See https://docs.apify.com/sdk/python/docs/concepts/proxy-management
