## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Vietnam Jobs Scraper: TopCV & ITviec Jobs, Salaries, Skills

💰 A typical run of 50 jobs costs about $0.10 in job fees, plus a few cents of Apify platform usage (proxy and compute). No subscription, no API key.

Scrape job listings from **TopCV** and **ITviec**, two of Vietnam's largest job boards, into a clean table.
Search by keyword (Vietnamese or English) or paste any search URL with your filters, and get title, company,
city, salary range, skills, experience, posting date, deadline and the full description.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `title` | Lập Trình Viên Python (Django) |
| `company` | Công ty ABC |
| `sourceLabel` | TopCV / ITviec |
| `city`, `district`, `address` | Hồ Chí Minh, Quận 1, 12 Lê Lợi |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryUnit` | 15000000, 25000000, VND, MONTH |
| `salaryText` | Salary as shown on the page when no range is published |
| `experience` | 24 months |
| `skills` | \["Python", "Django", "PostgreSQL"] |
| `employmentType` | FULL_TIME |
| `datePosted`, `validThrough` | 2026-10-20, 2026-11-20 |
| `description` | Full job description as plain text |
| `url`, `jobId` | Link to the job and its ID on the board |

Export as **CSV, Excel, JSON** or use the API.

### Use cases

- **Salary benchmarks**: compare salary ranges for a role across companies and cities in Vietnam.
- **Skill demand**: count which skills (React, Go, Java, SAP…) employers ask for this month.
- **Recruitment and HR tech**: feed fresh Vietnamese job data into your ATS, job aggregator or newsletter.
- **Sales leads**: find companies that are hiring, a strong sign they are growing.
- **Market research**: track hiring trends for an industry over time with a schedule.

### How to use it

1. Type a **keyword**, for example `python`, `kế toán`, `marketing` or `data analyst`.
2. Pick **TopCV**, **ITviec** or both. ITviec lists IT jobs only.
3. Optionally choose a city for ITviec.
4. Click **Start**, then download the results.

Need TopCV filters (city, salary, level, industry)? Set them on topcv.vn, copy the result page URL, and paste it into **Search URLs**.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "keyword": "python",
  "sources": ["topcv", "itviec"],
  "city": "ho-chi-minh",
  "maxJobsPerSource": 100,
  "includeDescription": true
}
```

### How it works

Job pages on both boards publish **schema.org JobPosting** data, the same structured data Google for Jobs reads.
The scraper reads that data first, so fields stay correct even when the page design changes. Both sites use
Cloudflare, so the scraper uses a real browser TLS fingerprint and Vietnamese residential proxies by default.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you pay for each job saved, plus Apify platform usage (mainly residential proxy traffic).
Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the scraper stops when it is reached.

### Tips

- ITviec hides some salaries until you sign in. In that case `salaryText` shows what the page shows.
- If many pages fail, lower **Parallel requests** or keep the Vietnamese residential proxy.
- Run it on a **schedule** (daily or weekly) to build a history of job postings.

### Legal and data use

The scraper collects public job listings only. It does not collect recruiter names, emails or phone numbers.
You are responsible for using the data in line with the websites' terms and the laws that apply to you,
including Vietnam's personal data protection rules.

# Actor input Schema

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Job title or skill, in Vietnamese or English, for example "python", "kế toán" or "marketing". Leave empty for the newest jobs.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which job boards to search. ITviec lists IT jobs only.

## `city` (type: `string`):

City filter for ITviec. For TopCV filters (city, salary, level), paste a TopCV search URL below instead.

## `maxJobsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

How many jobs to save from each board (or from each pasted URL).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the job description as plain text (up to 6,000 characters).

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste search result URLs from topcv.vn or itviec.com with your filters already set. When set, keyword and city are ignored.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Job pages read at the same time. Lower it if you see many blocked pages.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Both sites use Cloudflare. Vietnamese residential proxies work best.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "keyword": "python",
    "topcv",
    "itviec"
  ],
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `jobs` (type: `string`):

One row per job: title, company, location, salary, skills, dates, description and link.

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Jobs found and saved per board, failures and blocked pages.
