## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## MultiSport Map Scraper

An [Apify Actor](https://apify.com/actors) that scrapes the
[MultiSport map](https://mapa.multisport.cz/cs/) for venues that accept the
MultiSport card.

It walks the activity categories, collects every venue ID, and then scrapes each
venue's detail page into a structured record.

### Output

Each dataset item is a venue:

```json
{
  "url": "https://mapa.multisport.cz/cs/193",
  "id": 193,
  "title": "Legion Gym",
  "description": "Fitness a Skupinové lekce ( TRX, Funkční trénink, Strečink)",
  "categories": ["Posilovny a silové tréninky", "Skupinové a taneční lekce"],
  "activities": ["Funkční trénink", "Posilovna", "Stretching", "..."],
  "street": "Husova 100",
  "city": "Jaroměř",
  "phone": "+420 606 182 647",
  "email": "info@legiongym.cz",
  "website": "http://legiongym.cz/",
  "facebook": "https://www.facebook.com/legiongymjaromer"
}
```

Fields that a venue does not provide (e.g. `facebook`, `website`) are `null`.
`categories` lists every activity category the venue was found under (a venue
can appear in more than one), and is always non-empty.

### Input

| Field        | Type            | Default    | Description                                                          |
| ------------ | --------------- | ---------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `categories` | array of string | `[]` (all) | Activity categories to scrape. Leave empty to scrape every category. |

The available category slugs are:

| Slug                            | Category                    |
| ------------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| `bazeny-a-vodni-sporty-1`       | Bazény a vodní sporty       |
| `rodice-s-detmi-2`              | Rodiče s dětmi              |
| `joga-a-zdravotni-cviceni-3`    | Jóga a zdravotní cvičení    |
| `lezecke-steny-4`               | Lezecké stěny               |
| `posilovny-a-silove-treninky-5` | Posilovny a silové tréninky |
| `pro-tehotne-6`                 | Pro těhotné                 |
| `raketove-a-micove-sporty-7`    | Raketové a míčové sporty    |
| `sezonni-a-ostatni-aktivity-8`  | Sezónní a ostatní aktivity  |
| `skupinove-a-tanecni-lekce-9`   | Skupinové a taneční lekce   |
| `wellness-a-relax-10`           | Wellness a relax            |

Example input (scrape only climbing walls and pools):

```json
{
  "categories": ["lezecke-steny-4", "bazeny-a-vodni-sporty-1"]
}
```

### Tech stack

- Node.js 24 with native TypeScript execution (no build step)
- [Crawlee](https://crawlee.dev/)'s `AdaptivePlaywrightCrawler` — uses plain HTTP
  where possible and falls back to a real browser only when needed
- [Apify SDK](https://docs.apify.com/sdk/js/) for input, proxy, and dataset
- `zod` for input validation, `oxlint`/`oxfmt` for linting/formatting,
  `vitest` for tests

The crawler uses Apify Proxy by default when run on the platform.

### Development

```bash
npm install
npm start          # run locally against the live site
npm test           # run unit tests
npm run lint       # lint
npm run fmt        # format
npm run typecheck  # type check
```

Without an Apify token, `Actor.createProxyConfiguration()` returns no proxy, so
local runs hit the site directly — no extra configuration needed.

# Actor input Schema

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Which activity categories to scrape. Leave empty to scrape every category.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "categories": [
    "lezecke-steny-4"
  ]
}
```

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "categories": [
        "lezecke-steny-4"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("janbuchar/multisport-map-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
