## Changelog

Prospect Buddy for HighLevel. Newest first. Version numbers are Apify build numbers.

### 0.1.60 (2026-11-05)

- Shorter Store description, and the run's Output tab now links straight to the businesses it researched. No change
to how searches run or what they cost.

### 0.1.59 (2026-11-05)

- A goal can now require several things at once with the new "Also require" field, for example a valid email and a
phone not on a Do Not Call list. A business counts only when it has all of them, and its card says what's missing.
- New goals: phones not on a Do Not Call list, and cell phones not on a Do Not Call list.
- Clearer Apify page: what you get up front, and the Save to HighLevel section explains how the Prospect Buddy agent
for HighLevel uses it. No change to how searches run or what they cost.

### 0.1.58 (2026-10-24)

- A rebuild of 0.1.57, with no changes.

### 0.1.57 (2026-10-24)

- Two searches running at the same time in one account no longer forget each other's businesses (which could have
meant paying for them again later).
- The Apify page now pre-fills a small 2-business example.

### 0.1.56 (2026-10-24)

- Websites behind a bot check: when the check refuses us, the page is tried up to twice more from a different
connection, so fewer websites come back unreadable.

### 0.1.55 (2026-10-24)

- Websites behind a bot check: if the lighter read doesn't get through, the page is read again in full.

### 0.1.54 (2026-10-24)

- Fixes 0.1.53, which skipped too much: some websites (Wix sites, and sites behind a bot check) couldn't be read. Now
only images, video, fonts and known tracking, ad, map and chat scripts are skipped.

### 0.1.53 (2026-10-24)

- Faster, lighter website reads: the browser skips images, video, fonts and other sites' tracking scripts, and reads
  the same text.

### 0.1.52 (2026-10-24)

- **Catch-all owner emails aren't charged as owner emails.** When the owner's email is on a mail server that accepts
any address (so no check can confirm it), you pay only the $0.01 email check, not the $0.03 owner email price. Owner
emails whose check comes back unknown cost nothing.

### 0.1.51 (2026-10-24)

- Emails on a domain that can't receive mail, and guessed emails that couldn't be checked, are left out.
- When your Apify account reaches its usage limit for the billing cycle, the search says so (it used to say Google
  Maps stopped responding).

### 0.1.50 (2026-10-23)

- **New prices: you pay for each thing we deliver, and only when we find it.** Business profile (Google rating,
reviews, hours, website, category) $0.01. Each phone number: line check (cell or landline) $0.01 and Do Not Call
check $0.01. Owner's name, found by AI $0.02. Owner's email, found by AI $0.03, plus $0.01 when its mailbox check
  passes.
- **Team contacts are free:** up to 2 more people at each business, with their name, role and checked email or phone.
- **Every email is checked before you see it,** including ones published on the website and the business's general
email. An email that bounces is left out. The "Check email addresses" option is gone.

### 0.1.49 (2026-10-23)

- **New prices: never more than 6 cents a business, and you only pay for what's found.** Business researched $0.02
(the phone and Do Not Call checks are included: there's no separate phone charge), owner found $0.015, owner email
  found $0.025.
- Apify free plan: 25 businesses a run and 500 a month, and 50 phone checks in all; after those, numbers come back
with a warning to check them before calling.
- Runs use 1 GB of memory (fixed).

### 0.1.48 (2026-10-23)

- **Every phone number is checked for Do Not Call, always.** The option to turn phone checks off is gone. You only
ever see or save numbers that were checked; a number that couldn't be checked is left out.
- If phone checks stop during a search, the businesses whose numbers weren't all checked are held back and the search
stops early. Searching again picks them up. If phone checks are unavailable at the start, the search doesn't start.
- On Apify's free plan, numbers aren't checked: the card warns at the top and on every number to check them before
calling or texting, and HighLevel gets DNC Status "Not checked" and the tag `prospect-buddy-dnc-not-checked`.

### 0.1.47 (2026-10-23)

- HighLevel: the Google rating now shows on the contact page, in a Number field called **Google Star Rating** (the
old Google Rating field was a decimal type HighLevel saves but doesn't display).
- HighLevel: **Owner Reply Rate** is renamed **Reviews Answered (%)**: the share of recent Google reviews the owner
replied to. The field keeps its values and ID, so smart lists keep working.
- HighLevel: the **Fit Score** field is no longer filled (Fit Band and Best Offer say the same thing in words).
- HighLevel: saving retries when HighLevel drops a connection, instead of failing that business.

### 0.1.46 (2026-10-23)

- HighLevel: the Fit Band field uses the card's words (Strong fit, Good fit, Weak fit, Not enough info) instead of
A/B/C, and the fit tags match (`prospect-buddy-fit-strong` ...). When the field's options change, the save updates
the existing field in place, so smart lists and workflows that use it keep working.

### 0.1.45 (2026-10-23)

- When some phone numbers can't be checked during a search, the status says "phone checks were briefly
unavailable" instead of naming the service's credits.

### 0.1.44 (2026-10-23)

- **Businesses that can't be cold-called, texted or emailed are flagged.** When every phone number a business has is
on a Do Not Call list and no email was found, its card starts with a ⚠️ warning that names what's left (in person,
a website contact form, Facebook, Instagram), and it's listed last in its round. The finished status counts them.
- Saving one of these to HighLevel turns on Do Not Disturb for calls, texts, email and WhatsApp on its contacts and
adds the tag `prospect-buddy-do-not-contact`, so no call or text workflow reaches them.

### 0.1.43 (2026-10-23)

- A misspelled or unknown city now ends with "Couldn't find … on the map. Check the city and state are spelled
right", instead of a technical error or "try again later".
- A search that reaches its spending cap says so in its status ("Stopped at the spending cap ($0.05)").

### 0.1.42 (2026-10-23)

- **A problem never crashes a search any more.** One business whose website can't be read still gets its Google
Maps details and card; a business whose results can't be built is left out and counted, never the whole round.
- When Google Maps or the email checker stops responding, the run retries, then turns that one feature off and says
so in its status ("Problems: email checks unavailable …"). Everything already researched is kept.
- A run never starts a round it doesn't have the time to finish; it stops with "Stopped early: the run ran out of
time", and searching the area again continues where it stopped.
- Anything unexpected ends the run with a plain-words status and keeps its results, instead of failing with a
  technical error.

### 0.1.40 – 0.1.41 (2026-10-23)

- The finished run's status starts with the true cost, broken down: Prospect Buddy, Google Maps listing, Google Maps
  research and email checks.
- Phone checks: when the service has fewer credits left than a round needs, it checks as many as it can instead
  of none.
- The quote's status is numbers only, so it always fits Apify's 500-character status.

### 0.1.39 (2026-10-23)

- **Fix:** a slow AI response no longer stops the search. Each call is retried, and a business whose call still
fails is finished without it (before, one 2-minute timeout failed a 40-business search halfway).
- Businesses are remembered as researched only once their results are saved, so a run that stops early never hides
  businesses it didn't deliver.
- Quote: the Google Maps listing line says it's a one-time total already included in the amounts, with the price per
  business.

### 0.1.37 – 0.1.38 (2026-10-23)

- **New business card** (`card.text`), the same in chat and in the HighLevel note: whether the business has what
you asked for, then business info with every email and phone explained in plain words (verified or not; cell
phone, landline or internet phone; Do Not Call status), the website's platform, then **What we checked** in 7
areas with why each matters (or "no problems found"), and the **Opportunity** last: the best fit, why, and what
the offer does. Every card has the same lines in the same order.
- The business's other phone numbers are checked too (still up to 3 numbers per business).
- Plainer findings: "fewer reviews than most here (the middle business has 48)", "rating 4.2 (below 4.5)".

### 0.1.36 (2026-10-23)

- Quote wording for an area that's already listed.

### 0.1.35 (2026-10-23)

- **Never pay twice for the same research:** every business researched and every area's Google Maps list are
remembered in a named store in your own Apify account (`prospect-buddy-history`), which never expires. Later runs
skip businesses already researched, in any area, niche or chat, and continuing an area never lists it again.
Businesses come up again for a re-check after 90 days (`recheckAfterDays`; 0 turns the memory off).
- The quote shows no listing cost for an area that's already listed.

### 0.1.34 (2026-10-23)

- Quote wording: says when the likely cost is based on searches in other niches or places.

### 0.1.33 (2026-10-23)

- Clearer cost quote, in three labelled parts: **Likely** (what the search will probably cost and for how many
businesses), **Most** (the cost if every business is researched with every check; the search stops itself before
spending more), and **Listing** (the part that lists a new area on Google Maps: an upper bound charged per business
  found, once per area).

### 0.1.32 (2026-10-23)

- This changelog, shown on the actor's Information tab.

### 0.1.31 (2026-10-23)

- Renamed **Prospect Buddy for HighLevel** (was Local Owner Finder for HighLevel Agencies).
- **Cost quote:** `quoteOnly` returns what a search will cost before it runs: a hard maximum from live prices and a
likely figure from your own earlier searches.
- **Spending cap:** `maxCostUsd` stops a search before it goes over the amount.
- What each search cost is in the run summary and in the HighLevel search log (Researched, Spent (USD), Cost per
  Business, Cost per Owner Email).

### 0.1.26 (2026-10-23)

- Phone checks pause cleanly when the phone-check service runs out of credits.

### 0.1.25 (2026-10-23)

- **Phone checks:** every business's main line and decision makers' numbers are checked for line type (mobile,
landline, VoIP), carrier and Do Not Call status (Federal and State DNC, TCPA litigators). Input `checkPhones`
(owners / all / off). Paid Apify plans only.
- New goal: **cell phones** (a decision maker's mobile, or a main line that is a mobile).
- HighLevel: Phone Type and DNC Status fields; tags `prospect-buddy-cell` and `prospect-buddy-dnc`.
- Result cards in plain words: strong / good / weak fit instead of scores, usable email first, "No website" pitch for
  businesses without a site.

### 0.1.21 – 0.1.23 (2026-10-23)

- Ready-made batch card on every result (owner, email, best pitch, reasons to call).
- Emails go to the right person; guessed emails never reuse an address another person has.
- Goals by email kind (owner emails, verified emails, any usable email, owners named); businesses that meet the goal
  come first.

### 0.1.16 – 0.1.19 (2026-10-23)

- **Areas:** list an area once (city limits, or within 15 or 25 miles of the center), research the next N, and
  continue later where you stopped.
- **Goals:** research in rounds of 10 until you have N owner emails (or emails, or owners), with a cap; skip businesses
  already researched in earlier runs.
- Default run timeout 60 minutes.

### 0.1.14 (2026-10-23)

- 16 filterable HighLevel contact fields in a Prospect Buddy folder (fit band, best offer, lead gaps, good-fit offers,
email status, rating, reviews and more), for smart lists and workflows.

### 0.1.8 – 0.1.12 (2026-10-23)

- **Search log:** each search recorded in a Prospect Buddy custom object in HighLevel.
- Save mode for the HighLevel agent's Custom API; empty save calls fail clearly and never start a search.
- Email-status fixes from paid tests; best offer ignores gaps every business in the search shares.

### 0.1.1 – 0.1.7 (2026-10-23)

- First versions: Google Maps businesses with their owners and checked emails, the gaps each business has with
evidence, scores for 10 common HighLevel offers, and a direct save into HighLevel (company, linked contacts, tags,
fields, note, opportunity) or to a webhook.
