# GBP Photo Gap — Few Google Business Photos (Pay Per Lead) (`jaxily/gbp-photo-gap`) Actor

Pay per qualified lead ($2/1k): claimed GBP/GMB listings with fewer than 5 public photos (configurable). Paste Maps place URLs; listings with full galleries are skipped. Name, phone, website, and photo count per row—for agencies selling photo posting and profile refreshes. Not a Maps photo scraper.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## GBP Photo Gap — Few Google Business Photos (Pay Per Lead)

**For local SEO agencies** who sell **monthly photo uploads** and Google Business Profile (GBP / GMB) gallery refreshes.

Pay **only for qualified leads** ($2 per 1,000 leads)—not for every URL you check. Listings with enough photos are filtered out.

### What it does

Paste **Google Maps place URLs**. The Actor reads the public **“N Photos”** gallery label and returns businesses with **fewer than your threshold** (default **under 5 photos**), plus review/website filters.

Each row includes **name, phone, website, city, review count, photo count**, and `no photos` / `only N photos`.

### What it is not

- **Not a Maps photo downloader or scraper** — you bring place URLs.
- **Not a full GBP audit** — one gap only: thin gallery.
- **Not charged per place checked** — full galleries and unreadable pages are not billed as leads.

### Typical workflow

1. Collect Maps **place URLs** for a market.
2. Run **GBP Photo Gap** (pair with [GBP Post Gap](https://apify.com/jaxily/gbp-post-gap) for dormant posters).
3. Pitch: *“Your profile only shows 2 photos—competitors have dozens.”*
4. Deliver photos via **[MapPush](https://mappush.com)** or your process.

### Input

- **placeUrls** — Maps place URLs with data id and coordinates (see GBP Post Gap README).
- **minPhotos** — default `5` (qualify when visible count is **below** this).
- **minReviews** — default `5`.
- **requireWebsite** — default on.
- **incremental** — skip unchanged photo counts on repeat runs.

### Pricing (pay per event)

| Event | Suggested price | Role |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `qualified-lead` | **$0.002** | One qualified row |
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.00005 | Platform default |

Primary event: **`qualified-lead`**.

### Keywords

Google Business Profile photos, GBP photos, GMB gallery, thin profile, local SEO leads, pay per qualified lead.

### Develop & publish

npm test
npm run smoke

# Actor input Schema

## `placeUrls` (type: `array`):

One Maps place URL per line. Copy it from the place panel so it includes the data id (0xabc:0xdef) and the pin. Only businesses with fewer than minPhotos visible photos are billed.

## `minPhotos` (type: `integer`):

A business qualifies when its visible photo count is below this number (default 5, matching common GBP audit guidance).

## `minReviews` (type: `integer`):

Drop listings below this review count. Use 0 to keep brand-new listings.

## `requireWebsite` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only businesses with a website, so there is somewhere to send the pitch.

## `incremental` (type: `boolean`):

When you schedule this Actor, skip businesses you were already charged for unless their visible photo count changed.
