## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 website with contacts

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Email Scraper: Emails, Phones & Social Links

Give it a list of websites and get back each one's **email addresses, phone numbers and social media profiles** (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest) in one clean row per website. It reads each homepage plus the pages where businesses put their contact details: contact, about, team, impressum and legal pages.

**You only pay for websites where contacts are found.** Websites with no contact details, dead domains and websites that block access are listed in the run summary and never charged.

### What can it do?

- 📧 **Emails** from mailto links, page text, schema.org data, Cloudflare-protected addresses and `name [at] domain [dot] com` spellings, with the page each one was found on.
- ⭐ **A primary email per website**: an address on the website's own domain first, and a role mailbox (info@, contact@, sales@) ahead of personal ones.
- 📞 **Phone numbers** from click-to-call links and schema.org data, deduplicated across formats.
- 🔗 **Social profiles**, cleaned to the profile URL (share buttons, single posts and videos are ignored).
- 🧭 **Contact page URL**, so you can follow up by form when a business has no public email.
- 🌍 Works on any language: it recognizes contact pages such as *Kontakt*, *Impressum*, *Contacto*, *Contatti* and *Qui sommes-nous*.

### Who is it for?

- **Lead generation and sales teams** turning a list of company websites into a contact list.
- **Agencies** building prospect lists for local businesses. Pair it with our [Google Maps Places Scraper](https://apify.com/jaybird/google-maps-places-scraper): find the businesses on Maps, then pull contacts from their websites.
- **Researchers and partnership teams** who need the official contact channel of hundreds of organizations.

### How to use it

1. Paste your websites into **Websites**, one per row. Bare domains (`example.com`), full URLs and specific location pages all work.
2. Optionally change **Max pages per website** (default 5: the homepage plus 4 contact-type pages).
3. Click **Start** and download the results as Excel, CSV, JSON or HTML, or get them through the API.

#### Input example

```json
{
    "websites": ["https://apify.com", "https://www.eff.org", "https://www.python.org"],
    "maxPagesPerWebsite": 5
}
```

#### Output example

A real row for eff.org (emails and details shortened):

```json
{
    "inputUrl": "https://www.eff.org",
    "websiteUrl": "https://www.eff.org/",
    "domain": "eff.org",
    "title": "Electronic Frontier Foundation",
    "primaryEmail": "info@eff.org",
    "emails": [
        "info@eff.org",
        "press@eff.org",
        "membership@eff.org",
        "activist@eff.org"
    ],
    "primaryPhone": null,
    "phones": [],
    "facebook": "https://www.facebook.com/eff",
    "instagram": "https://www.instagram.com/efforg",
    "linkedin": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/EFF",
    "twitter": null,
    "youtube": null,
    "tiktok": "https://www.tiktok.com/@efforg",
    "pinterest": null,
    "socialProfiles": [
        "https://www.facebook.com/eff",
        "https://www.instagram.com/efforg",
        "https://www.linkedin.com/company/EFF",
        "https://www.tiktok.com/@efforg"
    ],
    "contactPageUrl": "https://www.eff.org/about/contact",
    "emailDetails": [
        {
            "email": "info@eff.org",
            "foundOn": "https://www.eff.org/about/contact",
            "matchesWebsiteDomain": true
        },
        {
            "email": "press@eff.org",
            "foundOn": "https://www.eff.org/about/contact",
            "matchesWebsiteDomain": true
        }
    ],
    "phoneDetails": [],
    "pagesScanned": 5,
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-26T21:43:57.832Z"
}
```

The dataset has three views: **Contacts** (the main table), **Emails only**, and **Social profiles**. The run summary (key-value store record `OUTPUT`) lists the websites without contacts and the ones that failed, with the reason (`dns-not-found`, `timeout`, `blocked`, …).

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$5 per 1,000 websites with contacts** on the Free plan, down to $3.50 per 1,000 on Gold and above. A website counts once however many emails, phones and profiles it has. Websites with nothing found, unreachable websites and blocked websites are free. Apify adds a small start fee of $0.00005 per GB of run memory ($0.0002 at the default 4 GB).

Set a maximum charge on the run and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### FAQ

**Why did a website return no emails?** Many businesses publish only a contact form or a phone number. Those websites still return their phone and social profiles, and the contact page URL. Websites with no contact details at all are listed in `OUTPUT.websitesWithoutContacts` and are not charged.

**Does it scrape personal data?** It collects only contact details that each website publishes on its own public pages, such as business mailboxes, phone numbers and company profiles. It never logs in, submits forms or guesses addresses. Some published addresses belong to named staff, so check that your use complies with the GDPR, CAN-SPAM and the rules that apply to you before contacting anyone.

**Does it verify emails?** No. It reports what the website publishes. `matchesWebsiteDomain` tells you whether an address is on the website's own domain.

**Does it need proxies or a browser?** No. It reads plain HTML through Apify's datacenter proxy, which keeps it fast and cheap. Websites that require JavaScript to show their contact details (rare) or that block automated visitors are reported, not charged.

**Can I scan more pages per website?** Yes, up to 20. The price stays per website.
