## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## France Healthcare Professionals (RPPS / Annuaire Santé)

Get **every health professional registered in France** — doctors, pharmacists, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, midwives, speech therapists... — from the **official Annuaire Santé** (RPPS / ADELI) published by the French Digital Health Agency: profession, specialty, mode of practice, workplace, SIRET/FINESS, address and the workplace phone or e-mail when published.

A reliable, legal alternative to scraping booking websites: this is the State's own register, released as open data.

### Who uses it

- **Medical and pharma sales teams, labs and wholesalers**: target professionals by profession, specialty and area.
- **Healthtech and software vendors** (practice management, pharmacy software, telehealth): size a market and build prospect lists.
- **Insurers, recruiters and researchers**: verify a professional's registration, study medical density by area.
- **Monitoring**: get the new installations in your area every week.

### What you get

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `rpps`, `idType`, `ppId` | National identifier (RPPS or ADELI) |
| `title`, `civility`, `lastName`, `firstName` | Identity as practised |
| `profession`, `category`, `specialty`, `specialtyType` | Profession and specialty (savoir-faire) |
| `exerciseMode`, `sector`, `role`, `activityGenre` | Libéral / salarié, type of workplace, function |
| `workplace` | Name, brand, SIRET, SIREN, FINESS, structured address, département, phone, fax, e-mail |
| `pharmacistSection`, `registrationAuthority` | Pharmacists' section, registering authority |

By default one item per (professional, workplace, specialty), as in the official file. Turn on `groupByProfessional` to get one item per professional with the list of workplaces.

### Examples

**Community pharmacists in Gironde**

```json
{ "professions": ["Pharmacien"], "sectors": ["officine"], "departments": ["33"], "groupByProfessional": true }
```

**Private-practice cardiologists in Paris with a published phone**

```json
{ "professions": ["Médecin"], "specialties": ["Cardiologie"], "exerciseModes": ["Libéral"], "postalCodes": ["750"], "withPhoneOnly": true }
```

**Weekly feed of newly registered physiotherapists in Nouvelle-Aquitaine**

```json
{ "professions": ["Kinésithérapeute"], "departments": ["16", "17", "19", "23", "24", "33", "40", "47", "64", "79", "86", "87"], "monitorNew": true, "monitorKey": "kine-na", "monitorFirstRun": "baselineOnly" }
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: you pay for each item returned, nothing for rows filtered out. In monitor mode you only pay for new entries. Set a maximum cost per run to cap spending.

### Good to know

- The official file has about 2 million rows (one per professional and workplace); each run reads it in streaming, which takes a few minutes. Use filters: runs stop early once `maxResults` is reached.
- Phones and e-mails are those of the workplace, and only when the professional's organisation published them.
- **GDPR**: this is personal data published by the State for public information. If you use it for prospecting, you are the data controller: respect the GDPR (legitimate interest, information and opt-out for B2B outreach) and the professional ethics rules of health professions.
