## Pricing

from $3.33 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## US Jobs from Employer Career Sites

Job postings in the United States collected directly from employer career sites and the applicant tracking systems behind them (Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Ashby, iCIMS, Oracle and others). Every board is re-read daily. Over 1.8 million jobs in the United States from more than 9,600 employers.

### What you get

Each job carries:

- **Title** and the **full description** in Markdown, HTML or plain text
- **Company** name and website
- **Locations** with country codes, and whether the job is remote, hybrid or on-site
- **Employment type** and **experience level**
- **Salary** where the posting states it
- **Skills**, benefits, industry and required language
- **Visa sponsorship** and **relocation** where the posting states them
- **Posted, listed and closed dates** (Unix seconds)
- The employer's **apply URL**
- The **platform** the posting is published on, such as `workday`, `greenhouse` or `phenom`

### How to use it

1. Set any filters: job title, description words, state, city, work location, employment type, experience level, skills, industry, platform, salary, visa sponsorship, relocation and posting date.
2. Set **Maximum results**. The run stops there, or earlier when no more jobs match.
3. Run it, then download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

Leave every filter empty for the newest open jobs in the United States. Choose **Closed** under Job status for jobs that have closed.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "q": "software engineer",
  "state": "CA, WA",
  "remoteType": ["hybrid", "onsite"],
  "postedAfter": "7 days",
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

#### Example output

**Description format** sets which description fields each job carries: `descriptionMarkdown` (the default), `description` (HTML), `descriptionPlain`, or all three.

```json
{
  "id": "4c2a9f6e-1d3b-4e8a-b7c5-9e0f1a2b3c4d",
  "title": "Software Engineer II, Payments",
  "descriptionMarkdown": "## About the role\n\nYou will...",
  "locations": [{ "addressLocality": "Seattle", "addressRegion": "WA", "addressCountry": "US", "workLocation": "hybrid" }],
  "remoteType": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "full_time",
  "experienceLevel": "mid",
  "salary": { "min": 142000, "max": 186000, "currency": "USD", "period": "annual", "annualMin": 142000, "annualMax": 186000 },
  "skills": { "primarySkills": ["Java", "AWS"], "secondarySkills": ["Kafka"], "softSkills": ["Collaboration"] },
  "industry": ["technology_software"],
  "postedAt": 1792108800,
  "listedAt": 1792112400,
  "closedAt": null,
  "applyUrl": "https://careers.example.com/jobs/67890",
  "ats": "radancy",
  "status": "active",
  "companies": [{ "name": "Example Corp", "website": "https://example.com" }]
}
```

#### Continue where a run stopped

When a run stops at **Maximum results** or your spending limit and more jobs match, its status message, its log and its `OUTPUT` record (Storage, Key-value store) give a **Resume from** value. Start a new run with the same filters and paste that value into **Resume from**: it picks up at the next job, with no job charged twice. A run with different filters refuses the value, and so may a run of a newer version of this actor; start a fresh run then. Jobs posted after the first run started appear in a fresh run, not a resumed one. A period such as **7 days** is counted from the day each run starts.

### Pricing

You pay per job returned, plus Apify's small fee for starting a run. A run never charges more than your spending limit: it stops when the next job would exceed it. One run returns at most 50,000 jobs; continue with **Resume from** for more.

### Filters in detail

- Every job has a location in the United States: its **Country** is `US`. A job open in several countries is included when one of them is the United States.
- **Job title** matches words in the title. Quote a phrase (`"data engineer"`) and put a minus before a word to exclude it (`-intern`).
- **Description contains** uses the same syntax on the full description.
- **State or region** and **City** take several names separated by commas.
- **Skills** and **Industry** take up to 10 values each.
- **Platform** keeps jobs published on any of the platforms you choose: an applicant tracking system such as Workday or Greenhouse, or a career-site platform such as Phenom. Jobs whose platform is unknown are left out when you set it.
- **Minimum salary** keeps jobs whose yearly pay reaches that amount: hourly, weekly and monthly pay is compared per year, in each job's own currency. Set **Salary currency** (for example USD) to compare in one. Jobs without a stated salary are left out when you set it.
- **Posted after** and **Posted before** take a date (`2026-01-31`) or a period (`7 days`, `2 weeks`, `3 months`).

### FAQ

**Does it include remote jobs?** Yes, when the posting places the job in the United States. Set **Work location** to Remote for those only.

**How fresh is the data?** Every board is re-read daily. A job closes about 30 days after it was last listed, and its `closedAt` records when.

**Why did my run stop before Maximum results?** No more jobs matched your filters, or the next job would have gone over your spending limit. The run's status message says which, and gives a **Resume from** value when more jobs match.
