## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Crypto Whale Tracker – Hyperliquid Positions, Funding & OI

### For AI agents

- **What it returns:** flat JSON rows of Hyperliquid whale positions (with liquidation prices), the top-trader leaderboard, every perp's funding and open interest, and live positions or fills for wallets you name.
- **Default call:** `{}` runs `hl_whale_positions` and returns real rows in under a minute.
- **Cheap example (about 20 rows):** `{ "mode": "hl_whale_positions", "coins": ["BTC"], "minPositionUsd": 5000000, "maxItems": 20 }`
- **Price:** $0.001 per data row. Status rows are free.
- **MCP:** `https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=johto.data/crypto-whale-perps-tracker`
- **Paused:** `eth_whale_transfers` returns one free `status` row (`mode_disabled`) and fetches nothing. Retired or unknown modes return one free `status` row (`unsupported_mode`).

| Mode | What you get | Source |
|---|---|---|
| `hl_whale_positions` (default) | Open positions above `minPositionUsd` held by the largest Hyperliquid accounts: side, size, entry, leverage, **liquidation price**, unrealized PnL | Hyperliquid info API + public leaderboard |
| `hl_leaderboard` | Top traders by PnL, ROI, volume or account value (day/week/month/all-time) | Hyperliquid public stats |
| `hl_markets` | Every Hyperliquid perp: mark/oracle price, 24h change, **funding (hourly and annualized), open interest in USD**, volume, max leverage | Hyperliquid info API |
| `hl_positions` / `hl_fills` | Live positions or recent fills for the wallets in `addresses` | Hyperliquid info API |
| `eth_whale_transfers` | **Paused.** One free status row, no data | — |

**Questions this answers:**

- Which wallets hold the largest BTC longs on Hyperliquid, and where are they liquidated?
- What are the current funding rates and open interest for SOL perps on Hyperliquid?
- Who are the top Hyperliquid traders by PnL this week?

### Coverage and limits

- **Hyperliquid only.** Markets, leaderboard and any wallet. There's no public liquidation feed, so each whale position carries its liquidation price instead.
- **Ethereum transfers are paused.** We could not find an Ethereum RPC provider whose terms allow this commercial use of a free endpoint, so the mode returns a status row until one is licensed.

### Alerts

Set `onlyNew: true` and a `webhookUrl` (Slack, Discord, Zapier, n8n), then schedule the Actor every 5–15 minutes. You get alerts like `SHORT BTC $225,716,213 @76204.7` and pay only for new rows.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per row.** For example, 50 whale positions cost $0.05. Status rows are free.

### Changes

- **0.1.7 (October 22, 2026):** `eth_whale_transfers` paused (status row only, no RPC calls).
- **0.1.6 (October 22, 2026):** retired the spot/futures modes and their inputs.

Not financial advice. Not affiliated with Hyperliquid.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Which dataset to return. hl_whale_positions = open Hyperliquid positions above minPositionUsd from the largest accounts (default). hl_leaderboard = top traders by pnl/roi/volume. hl_markets = every Hyperliquid perp with mark price, funding (hourly + annualized), open interest USD, 24h volume. hl_positions / hl_fills = live positions or recent fills for the wallets in 'addresses'. eth_whale_transfers is paused (no Ethereum RPC provider with commercial-use terms) and returns one free status row.

## `coins` (type: `array`):

Hyperliquid coin tickers to keep, e.g. \["BTC","ETH","SOL","HYPE"]. Empty = all coins.

## `addresses` (type: `array`):

0x wallet addresses. Required for hl_positions and hl_fills; ignored by other modes.

## `minPositionUsd` (type: `integer`):

hl_whale_positions threshold.

## `topWallets` (type: `integer`):

hl_whale_positions: largest Hyperliquid accounts by value.

## `leaderboardWindow` (type: `string`):

hl_leaderboard performance window.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

hl_leaderboard ranking.

## `minAccountValueUsd` (type: `integer`):

Filter small accounts.

## `fillsLimit` (type: `integer`):

hl_fills.

## `minUsd` (type: `integer`):

Paused with eth_whale_transfers; ignored. eth_whale_transfers: keep transfers worth at least this much. Stablecoins count as $1; WETH and WBTC use Hyperliquid mid prices.

## `blockRange` (type: `integer`):

Paused with eth_whale_transfers; ignored. How many recent blocks to scan (about 12 s per block, so 300 = about 1 hour). Read in 100-block chunks from public RPC.

## `includeUnknownTokens` (type: `boolean`):

Paused with eth_whale_transfers; ignored. eth_whale_transfers: also return transfers of tokens outside USDT/USDC/DAI/WETH/WBTC (raw amount only, no USD value, minUsd not applied).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Skip items already returned by previous runs of this mode (great for scheduled alerts; you only pay for new items).

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional. POSTs new items as JSON with a 'text'/'content' field (works with Slack, Discord, Zapier, Make, n8n).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum rows to return; each row is one charged result ($0.001). Keep small (10-50) for quick agent answers.
