## Pricing

from $0.0003 / result

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Mercado Livre Price Checker

Fast and affordable scraper for **Mercado Livre Brasil** (mercadolivre.com.br) built with Crawlee + Cheerio. Extract product data from **search pages, category pages and product pages** in a single run.

### What it extracts

- **Product title** and listing URL
- **Current price** and **original price** (when discounted)
- **Seller** name and official-store flag (product pages)
- **Installments** text (e.g. "10x R$ 164,66 sem juros")
- **Free shipping** flag (listings)
- **Stock status** (product pages, from JSON-LD structured data)
- Timestamp of extraction

### Why this Actor

- **Cheap**: Cheerio-based (no browser) — most runs cost cents in compute; the pay-per-event price is the main cost.
- **Simple input**: paste any `lista.mercadolivre.com.br/...` search or category URL, or a product URL (`/p/MLB...`). Mix them freely.
- **Anti-bot handled**: runs through Apify Residential Proxy by default, which Mercado Livre requires for reliable access. Proxy costs are billed to the run's user.
- **Follows pagination**: listing URLs are followed to the next page until `maxItems` is reached.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `startUrls` | array (required) | Mercado Livre search/category URLs or product URLs |
| `maxItems` | integer (default 100) | Stop after collecting this many products |
| `maxRequestsPerCrawl` | integer (default 50) | Safety limit on pages visited per run |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Apify Proxy config. Prefilled with Residential — recommended to keep |

### Usage examples

**Track prices for a search term:**

```json
{
    "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://lista.mercadolivre.com.br/smart-tv" }],
    "maxItems": 100
}
```

**Monitor specific product pages (daily price check):**

```json
{
    "startUrls": [
        { "url": "https://www.mercadolivre.com.br/<product>/p/MLB12345678" }
    ],
    "maxRequestsPerCrawl": 10
}
```

Schedule the Actor with the second input and pipe the dataset to a spreadsheet or webhook to build a price history over time.

### Output

Dataset items look like:

```json
{
    "url": "https://www.mercadolivre.com.br/...",
    "title": "Smart TV 43\" Full HD",
    "price": 1449.0,
    "originalPrice": 2499.0,
    "currency": "BRL",
    "seller": "Loja Oficial Exemplo",
    "installments": "ou 1646 em 10x 164,66 sem juros",
    "freeShipping": true,
    "inStock": true,
    "sourceType": "listing",
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-06T14:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### Notes & limits

- Data is extracted from **public pages only** — no login, no private data.
- Mercado Livre serves slightly different layouts per category; the Actor covers the standard poly-card listing layout and the standard product page (with JSON-LD fallback). If a run returns fewer items than expected, lower `maxRequestsPerCrawl` or check the run log.
- This Actor is not affiliated with Mercado Livre.

### Cost estimate

Pay-per-event: **$0.4 per 1,000 dataset items**. A typical 1-page search (~48 items) costs about **$0.02** plus proxy/compute (billed to the run's user).

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

URLs do Mercado Livre Brasil. Aceita páginas de busca/categoria (ex.: https://lista.mercadolivre.com.br/smart-tv) e páginas de produto (ex.: https://www.mercadolivre.com.br/produto-exemplo/p/MLB1234567).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of products to collect before the Actor stops.

## `maxRequestsPerCrawl` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of pages the Actor may visit in a single run.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy configuration. Mercado Livre blocks plain datacenter requests and non-BR IPs — keep RESIDENTIAL proxies with country=BR for reliable results. Proxy costs are charged to the run's user.

{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://lista.mercadolivre.com.br/smart-tv"
