## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Amazon Scraper - Search Results & Product Details, 17 Countries

Amazon products as clean rows from **searches, category pages, product URLs or plain ASINs**, in 17 Amazon marketplaces: title, price, list price (before discount), rating, review count, "bought in past month", badges (Best Seller, Amazon's Choice, Overall Pick), sponsored flag and image. Turn on **Include product details** to also get the brand, bullet points, description, every image, the specification table, best-seller ranks, seller, shipper and availability.

- **17 marketplaces:** US, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, India, UAE, Turkey. (amazon.fr blocks automated access and is not supported.) Prices are parsed in each country's number format.
- **Any input:** keywords, search or category URLs with your filters, product URLs, or a list of ASINs.
- **Fast and cheap:** search pages return 16 to 60 products per request; details are fetched 4 at a time.
- **No login, no cookies, no proxy setup.**

### Quick start

Search results only:

```json
{
  "keywords": "wireless earbuds\nlaptop stand",
  "country": "US",
  "sort": "bestSellers",
  "maxItemsPerSearch": 200
}
```

Product details for a list of ASINs:

```json
{
  "urls": ["B01GGKYKQM", "https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BQ21GXQL"],
  "includeDetails": true
}
```

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | string | | One search per line. |
| `urls` | array | | Product URLs, ASINs, or search/category URLs from any supported marketplace. |
| `country` | string | `US` | Marketplace for keywords and bare ASINs. |
| `sort` | string | `relevance` | `relevance`, `priceAsc`, `priceDesc`, `reviews`, `newest`, `bestSellers`. |
| `minPrice` / `maxPrice` | integer | | In the marketplace's currency. |
| `maxItemsPerSearch` | integer | 100 | `0` = every page Amazon offers (usually 20). |
| `includeDetails` | boolean | false | Open each product page for full details. |

### Output

```json
{
  "asin": "B01GGKYKQM",
  "url": "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GGKYKQM",
  "title": "Amazon Basics USB-A to USB-C Fast Charger Cable, USB 2.0...",
  "brand": "Amazon Basics",
  "price": 4.39,
  "listPrice": null,
  "currency": "USD",
  "rating": 4.6,
  "reviewsCount": 107412,
  "badges": ["Overall Pick"],
  "boughtPastMonth": "10K+ bought in past month",
  "isSponsored": false,
  "thumbnail": "https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71IE9dLBduL._AC_UY218_.jpg",
  "position": 1,
  "page": 1,
  "availability": "In Stock",
  "seller": "Amazon.com",
  "shipsFrom": "Amazon.com",
  "categories": ["Electronics", "Computers & Accessories", "Cables & Accessories", "USB Cables"],
  "features": ["USB-IF Certified, connects any USB-C to any standard USB-A..."],
  "images": ["https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61MyHRuZHNL._SL1500_.jpg"],
  "bestSellersRank": [{"rank": 728, "category": "Our Brands"}, {"rank": 41, "category": "USB Cables"}],
  "details": {"Brand": "Amazon Basics", "Connector Type": "Usb-c, Usb-a"},
  "variationsCount": 12,
  "marketplace": "US",
  "searchInput": "usb c cable",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-07T10:00:00+00:00"
}
```

Fields from the product page (`brand`, `features`, `images`, `details`, `bestSellersRank`, `seller`...) are filled only with **Include product details** or for product URLs and ASINs. A product that no longer exists comes back with `notFound: true` and is not charged.

### Pricing

Pay per event: `product` for each row from search results, `product-details` for each row with the product page's details (product URLs, ASINs, or searches with details on), plus a tiny actor-start fee. Each row is charged once.

### Use cases

- **Product research and sourcing:** prices, ratings, monthly purchases and best-seller ranks for a niche
- **Price monitoring:** schedule a list of ASINs daily and track price, list price and availability
- **Competitor and brand tracking:** who ranks for your keywords, who is sponsored, which sellers win the buy box
- **Catalog enrichment:** titles, bullets, images and specifications for your ASINs

### Integrations

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("joyouscam35875/amazon-scraper").call(run_input={
    "keywords": "standing desk",
    "country": "US",
    "maxItemsPerSearch": 100,
    "includeDetails": True,
})
for p in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(p["asin"], p["price"], p["rating"], p["reviewsCount"], p.get("bestSellersRank"))
```

Works with Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, schedules and webhooks, and as an MCP tool for AI agents.

### FAQ

**Why are some fields empty?** Amazon does not show every field for every product (no list price without a discount, no "bought in past month" for slow sellers). Fields are never invented.

**Prices depend on location: which one do I get?** Amazon's default for a visitor of that marketplace's country, without a delivery address.

**Is it legal?** The actor reads publicly visible product pages and does not log in. You are responsible for how you use the data and for complying with Amazon's terms and applicable law.

### Feedback

Missing a field or a marketplace? Open an issue on the actor's **Issues** tab. If this scraper saved you time, a short review on the Store page helps other people find it.
