## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Indeed Jobs Scraper - Full Descriptions, 23 Countries

Indeed job offers as clean rows, **with the full job description in every row**: title, company, location, salary as numbers, job type, remote, experience level, skills and benefits, posting date, apply link, and the company's profile (industry, size, revenue, website, logo). Search any keyword in **23 Indeed countries**, filter by date, job type and remote, and turn on **Only new jobs** for daily job alerts that never repeat an offer.

- **Full descriptions included,** at no extra cost and with no second request per job.
- **Fast:** 100 jobs per request; a few thousand jobs take about a minute.
- **Past the website's limit:** logged-out visitors on indeed.com now see a single page of results; this actor returns every page Indeed has for the search.
- **23 countries:** United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, Japan and more.
- **Only new jobs** remembers what earlier runs delivered, per search, so scheduled runs return and bill only fresh offers.
- **No login, no cookies, no proxy setup.**

### Quick start

```json
{
  "keywords": "registered nurse\ntravel nurse",
  "location": "Dallas, TX",
  "country": "US",
  "datePosted": "past24h",
  "maxJobsPerSearch": 500
}
```

**Daily alert:** add `"onlyNewJobs": true`, save as a task, schedule it every morning, and connect Slack, email or Google Sheets from the task's Integrations tab.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | string | required | One search per line: job title, skill or company. |
| `location` | string | whole country | City, state, ZIP or region. |
| `country` | string | `US` | Which Indeed site: `US`, `GB`, `CA`, `AU`, `IN`, `FR`, `DE`, `ES`, `IT`, `NL`, `BR`, `MX`, `JP` and more. |
| `radius` | integer | 25 | Around the location, in miles (US, UK) or kilometers. |
| `datePosted` | string | `any` | `any`, `past24h`, `past3days`, `pastWeek`, `past2weeks`. |
| `jobTypes` | array | all | `fullTime`, `partTime`, `contract`, `temporary`, `internship`. |
| `remoteOnly` | boolean | false | Only jobs Indeed tags as remote. |
| `sort` | string | `date` | `date` (newest first) or `relevance`. |
| `maxJobsPerSearch` | integer | 200 | Per keyword. `0` = every job Indeed returns (up to 5,000). |

### Output

```json
{
  "jobId": "f73f496cf9202444",
  "url": "https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=f73f496cf9202444",
  "applyUrl": "https://...",
  "title": "Lead Product Forward Deployed Engineer",
  "company": "Deloitte",
  "companyIndustry": "Consulting and Business Services",
  "companySize": "more than 10,000",
  "companyWebsite": "https://www.deloitte.com",
  "location": "Austin, TX",
  "city": "Austin",
  "state": "TX",
  "countryCode": "US",
  "remote": null,
  "jobTypes": ["fullTime"],
  "experienceLevel": "Senior level",
  "salaryMin": 105400,
  "salaryMax": 207800,
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryIsEstimate": false,
  "attributes": ["Full-time", "Senior level", "Python", "AWS Glue", "Health insurance", "401(k)"],
  "descriptionText": "The Team\n\nThe Innovation & Delivery Transformation team is building...",
  "descriptionHtml": "<div><b>The Team</b>...",
  "datePublished": "2026-10-06T05:00:00+00:00",
  "dateOnIndeed": "2026-10-07T01:35:47+00:00",
  "searchKeywords": "python developer",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-07T10:00:00+00:00"
}
```

`attributes` holds every tag Indeed attaches to the job: job types, schedule, skills, education, benefits. `remote` is `remote`, `hybrid` or `null`. `salaryPeriod` is `year`, `month`, `week`, `day` or `hour`. Many offers publish no salary; those fields are then `null`.

### Pricing

Pay per event: one `job` event per job row, full description included, plus a tiny actor-start fee. With **Only new jobs** on, a run with nothing new costs only the start fee.

### Use cases

- **Job alerts** for a role and city, delivered every morning to Slack, email or a sheet
- **Recruiting and sales intelligence:** who is hiring what, where, at what salary, with the company's size and industry
- **Labor-market research:** salary ranges, remote share, skills in demand, by role and region
- **Job boards and aggregators:** a deduplicated feed with full descriptions

### Integrations

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("joyouscam35875/indeed-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={
    "keywords": "data analyst",
    "location": "London",
    "country": "GB",
    "datePosted": "past24h",
    "onlyNewJobs": True,
})
for job in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(job["datePublished"], job["company"], job["title"], job["salaryMin"], job["url"])
```

Works with Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, schedules and webhooks, and as an MCP tool for AI agents.

### FAQ

**How many jobs can one search return?** Indeed lists at most 1,000 jobs per search. For a nationwide US search that hits that cap, the actor automatically repeats the search state by state, so you can get tens of thousands. Outside the US, add a location or a date filter for very broad keywords.

**What if my run has a short timeout?** The actor stops shortly before it, keeps every job already saved, and ends successfully with a message saying so.

**Is it legal?** The actor reads publicly listed job offers and does not log in. You are responsible for how you use the data and for complying with Indeed's terms and applicable law.

### Feedback

Missing a field or a country? Open an issue on the actor's **Issues** tab. If this scraper saved you time, a short review on the Store page helps other people find it.
