## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Maps Opening Hours by Exact Place URL

Get the dated hours currently displayed for one public business or landmark. This unofficial Actor is not affiliated with Google.

### When to use it

Use this Google Maps opening hours scraper to check the dates and hours currently shown for a venue whose exact place URL you already know. The dataset can support a same-day venue check or schedule audit. It does not infer regular weekly hours from a partial display.

### Input

Provide one full `https://www.google.com/maps/place/...` URL containing an exact `!1s0x...:0x...` feature ID. Short links, searches, CID-only links, residential places and person entries are unsupported.

### Output

One identity-checked place row contains a schedule of source-confirmed calendar dates, each with the displayed weekday, hours text and a closed flag. The row also contains the source URL, feature ID, public facility name/category, count, compact summary and retrieval time. The number of displayed dates varies by place and may be fewer than seven. A schedule is a snapshot; it is not a recurring weekly rule or a guarantee of future hours. Missing hours cause a failed run, not an empty success.

### Pricing

The price is $0.0024 for one validated place row through the `place-hours-created` PPE event, charged exactly once with the dataset row. Input errors, blocks and empty or invalid schedules have no event charge.

### Limits

One place URL per run, at most two HTTP GETs (current robots and one Maps preview), 30 seconds per request and 90 seconds per run, 2 MiB response cap, no retries or caching. Only current dated hours are read; there is no place search, history, pagination, booking, phone, website or fixed seven-day guarantee. Source blocks, robot denial, identity mismatch and structure changes fail explicitly.

### Privacy

Only public business/landmark name, category and dated opening hours are returned. Residences and person entries are rejected. Reviewer names, profiles, comments, descriptions, photos, phone numbers, websites, contacts, cookies and raw page data are excluded.
