## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## iOS App Release & Minimum OS Brief by ID

> **Unofficial** — independent tool, **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple or App Store**. It reads only publicly visible pages. Support, reliability guarantees and the full disclaimer are at the bottom of this page.

Check the published current version, release age, and minimum iOS requirement for an exact app watchlist. Compare the minimum OS with a stated fleet OS. This does not guarantee installation compatibility or app safety.

### Input

Supply 1–10 numeric App Store IDs as strings, targetIosVersion (default18.0), and maxItems1–10 (default3). IDs are deduplicated in input order. maxItems and the available event budget select a prefix before requests. Target OS accepts 1–4 numeric components of up to 4 digits each; application version strings are preserved without semver assumptions. US storefront and English requests only.

### Output

One row includes exact ID/bundle ID, title, source version string, current release date, UTC release age, published minimum OS, target OS, numeric minimum-OS comparison, source and App Store URLs, and fetchedAt. No reviews, ratings, contacts, media, descriptions, release notes or binaries.

### Pricing

$0.0024 per delivered app-release-brief-created row. One primary event; no start or secondary charge.

### Limits

Up to10 exact root iTunes lookup requests plus robots, three-second request spacing,512KiB response cap,30-second request timeout,180-second run,256MB. No RSS, localized lookup routes, search, proxy, login or browser. All selected IDs must validate before any output/charge; missing, blocked, mismatched or malformed results fail explicitly. Delivery failures can leave already delivered, billable rows.

### Privacy and source

Only public application facts are retained. Apple is the source, without affiliation. The official Lookup API is documented, while general Apple Media Services terms contain automated-access restrictions; the scout records this uncertainty and structural guards under existing project policy. No security bypass or media redistribution.

### If something goes wrong

- **Wrong number or a failed run?** Open a ticket on the **Issues** tab. I read every one and reply within 2 business days (Japan time).
- **You never get a fake "empty" result.** If the site can't be read, the run fails and says so.
One delivered product result is one billable event. Source failures before delivery have no event charge; rows delivered before a later dataset write failure remain billable.
- **Checked every week.** An automatic test runs this tool weekly; if the site changes, I fix it.
- **Public pages only.** No login, no personal data, and it goes easy on the site.
