## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Lever Multi-Board Jobs — Live Export

Export currently published jobs from up to five Lever employer boards in one scheduled, source-linked dataset. Unofficial independent tool, not affiliated with Lever or employers.

### Input

`boards` defaults to Spotify and Palantir and accepts exact public Lever board slugs or board URLs. `maxJobs` defaults to 100 and `maxJobsPerBoard` to 50. Optional title/location text filters and remoteOnly apply locally to published feed rows. This is not global Lever search.

### Output

One job row includes source board and ID, exact title, source team/department/location/workplace labels, creation time, source URLs and contact-screened plain description when available. No salary is promised. OUTPUT records source boards, inspected pages, counts and caps without charge when jobs are delivered. A verified zero across all boards or filters fails uncharged with an informative reason.

### Limits

Uses the public Postings API with anonymous HTTP, no proxy or browser, at least one second between requests. Up to five boards, 500 global jobs, 100 per board, 55 requests, 4 MiB per response, and 180 seconds of source acquisition. Source order is preserved; no newest-first guarantee. Caps mark partial coverage. Source errors, malformed JSON, auth blocks, rate limits and timeouts fail rather than produce an empty success.

### Privacy

No applicant records, applications, cookies, private API or external apply destination requests. Public vacancy descriptions are screened for emails and phone numbers. Employer and original job URL remain attributed.

### Charging

One `job-exported` primary event costs $0.001 per unique delivered job. No start, summary, filtered, duplicate, zero or failed-retrieval charge. Price is an initial hypothesis, not evidence of paid use.

### If something goes wrong

- **Wrong number or a failed run?** Open a ticket on the **Issues** tab. I read every one and reply within 2 business days (Japan time).
- **You never get a fake "empty" result.** If the site can't be read, the run fails and says so.
- **Delivered rows only.** One unique public job row is one billable event. Failed, empty, filtered and duplicate rows are not charged.
- **Checked every week.** An automatic test runs this tool weekly; if the site changes, I fix it.
- **Public source data only.** No login, application submissions, candidate records or private contacts.

# Actor input Schema

## `boards` (type: `array`):

1–5 public jobs.lever.co board slugs or exact board URLs. Default Spotify and Palantir; unrelated URLs and application links are rejected.

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

Global unique delivered job cap 1–500. A cap below the available source count is declared partial coverage.

## `maxJobsPerBoard` (type: `integer`):

Per-employer delivered cap 1–100; each selected board is inspected even if the global cap is reached.

## `titleContains` (type: `string`):

Optional case-insensitive local filter after public feed retrieval; not a Lever full-text search.

## `locationContains` (type: `string`):

Optional case-insensitive local filter of the source location labels only.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only rows explicitly labelled remote by Lever workplaceType; do not infer remote eligibility from text.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "boards": [
    "spotify",
    "palantir"
  ],
  "maxJobs": 100,
  "maxJobsPerBoard": 50,
  "titleContains": "",
  "locationContains": "",
  "remoteOnly": false
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Unique public job rows; one charged primary event per delivered row.

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Uncharged board counts, inspected pages and caps in OUTPUT; zero delivered jobs fail.

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("jpmarketdata/lever-multi-board-job-export").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
