## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify App Low-Rating Review Response Brief

Turn the public first page of newest 1–3-star Shopify App Store reviews into a small response queue. A product team can open each link in Shopify to read and respond. This tool is independent of Shopify.

### Input

Provide one to five exact public apps.shopify.com slugs. The default checks Loox and Judge.me, two product-review apps. Only ASCII slugs are accepted; no search terms, arbitrary URLs or private apps.

### Output

Each validated app produces one row with replied and unreplied counts among the first ten source-visible low-rating reviews, plus public review links, source-displayed dates, ratings and reply flags. Counts describe this sample only, not every review or a complete response SLA. A source-confirmed zero low-rating review page yields a zero-queue row.

### Pricing

One `app-review-brief-created` PPE event at $0.001 per delivered app row; no start or secondary charge. A normal two-app run has two rows and two events ($0.002). All selected pages are validated before any row or event. A source failure produces neither rows nor charges.

### Limits

The source page is filtered to ratings 1, 2 and 3 and sorted newest; at most ten reviews per app are sampled. One robots request and one public review-page request per app (maximum six requests) at 256 MB and 180 seconds, with at least one second between requests. The exact Shopify review path uses source-visible filters plus a stable locale. No login, API key, paid data source, proxy, browser, CAPTCHA bypass or internal endpoint. Fetch robots on every run and fail closed if a target path becomes disallowed. A missing identity/filter/sort, blocked page, rate limit or timeout fails explicitly.

### Privacy

Store app identity and only public review IDs, direct links, dates, numeric ratings and developer-reply flags. Never store review text, merchant identity, country, contact, screenshot or raw HTML.

Displayed dates can mark edited reviews; do not treat them as guaranteed original creation dates.
