## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Multi-Board Job Export

> **Unofficial** — independent tool, **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Workday**. It reads only publicly visible pages. Support, reliability guarantees and the full disclaimer are at the bottom of this page.

Export public jobs from a watchlist of Workday employer boards, with titles, full locations, exact published dates, descriptions and original apply links. Search within every board in the same run and join recurring exports by stable job IDs.

### Input

`boardUrls` requires 1–10 public `*.myworkdayjobs.com` board URLs, with an optional locale segment. The board path must be the external published board. `searchText` defaults to empty and is sent to the source search API. `maxJobsPerBoard` defaults to 50, maximum 500; `maxJobs` defaults to 100, maximum 500 across the watchlist. `includeDetails` defaults to true. Details disabled returns the public list fields and empty unavailable fields.

### Output

One `job` row per unique tenant, board and requisition ID. Every requested board gets a first search request and SUMMARY entry even when the global output cap has been reached. Includes published title, company, locations, type, exact posted date when available, published salary object, clean description and original job/apply URL. Date-only values remain date-only, missing pay is null, and relative dates are not converted into invented timestamps. `sourceRank`, `reportedTotal`, `coverageComplete` and `outputLimited` explain the selected source scope. Source relevance order is retained. An uncharged `SUMMARY` in key-value storage records every board's reported total, scanned/emitted counts, limits and source order.

### Limits

HTTP POST to public CXS job search plus GET detail only; no login, browser, proxy or paid API. At most 10 boards, 500 unique jobs, 600 requests including robots and bounded retries, 300 seconds, 256 MB, 4 MiB per response. Use modest concurrency up to 4 and at least 0.5 seconds between requests per host. Public source result counts can be capped by Workday and are not a guarantee of all employer vacancies. A user cap is a declared sample; it sets outputLimited=true. Page overlap is deduplicated. Repeated pages, unexpected empty pages before source exhaustion, unreadable robots, HTTP 401/403/429, timeout or malformed JSON fail with no charged dataset rows. If all requested boards complete but no matching jobs exist, fail with an explicit no-matching-jobs error and store the uncharged coverage summary; zero is not sold as a separate brief.

### Privacy

Only public employer vacancy information. No applications, candidate records, questionnaires, people profiles, cookies, emails or phone contacts. Redact email and phone contacts from descriptions. Do not follow external apply links, private/internal boards or unsupported hosts. Workday and employers are the data sources; this Actor is independent and unaffiliated. Review source and employer terms when reusing content.

### Charging

One primary `job-exported` event at $0.0005 for each unique delivered job, including public detail fields. No start fee, secondary detail fee or bill for the SUMMARY. The platform charge allowance must cover the requested maxJobs before any source query; an insufficient allowance is rejected rather than silently reducing coverage. Failed or empty runs do not emit a billable job. This price is a launch hypothesis to review using actual paid use and costs.

### If something goes wrong

- **Wrong number or a failed run?** Open a ticket on the **Issues** tab. I read every one and reply within 2 business days (Japan time).
- **You never get a fake "empty" result.** If the site can't be read, the run fails and says so.
- **Delivered rows only.** One validated unique row is one billable event. Duplicates, summaries, failed acquisition and undelivered rows are not charged.
- **Checked every week.** An automatic test runs this tool weekly; if the site changes, I fix it.
- **Public source data only.** No login or member/applicant records. Contact patterns are screened before delivery; prose may still name people.
