## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## YouTube Channel Videos, First Page

Export the visible initial video list of a public YouTube channel. Unofficial and not affiliated with YouTube.

### When to use it

Use this YouTube channel videos scraper to collect the first visible page of video IDs, titles and positions from channels you already know. It is useful for a quick channel catalog or page-level comparison, with no claim to a complete upload history.

### Input

Provide 1–5 URLs ending in `/videos` under `youtube.com/@handle` or `youtube.com/channel/UC...`. A channel is fetched once per run.

### Output

One `type=video_listing` row per validated video in the initial HTML page: videoId, title, canonical videoUrl, channelId, channelTitle, channelUrl, one-based visible position and fetchedAt. Row count varies with the page; it is commonly about 30.

### Pricing

$0.0008 per exported video row, billed once through the primary `channel-video-extracted` event. No actor-start or secondary event. Rows are charged only when delivered to the dataset.

### Limits

Only the initial video tab page is read. No pagination, continuation, full channel history, fixed row count or guaranteed newest order. At most 5 pages plus one robots request, 30-second page timeout, at least 2 seconds between YouTube requests, 120-second run budget. Blocks and structure changes fail explicitly; zero rows are never a successful result.

### Privacy

Only public video IDs/titles and channel metadata are returned. Descriptions, comments, contacts, cookies, faces, images, transcripts and raw page markup are excluded.
