## Pricing

from $1.05 / 1,000 job scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Career Site Jobs: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable

This career site jobs scraper pulls every open job straight from company career pages hosted on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters, and returns them in one clean schema. It is made for job boards, recruiters, talent analysts and sales teams that follow hiring signals. Use it as a Greenhouse jobs scraper, a Lever jobs scraper or an ATS job feed: paste a career page URL or just a company slug and export the jobs to Excel, CSV or JSON.

### What does Career Site Jobs do?

Many companies publish their open roles through an applicant tracking system (ATS). Each of these systems offers a public job board feed for the company's career page. The robot reads that feed and maps every posting to the same set of fields, whatever the platform, so jobs from five different systems end up in one table.

You can give it companies in two ways:

- **A career page URL.** The platform is detected from the link:
  - Greenhouse: `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` (embedded boards like `boards.greenhouse.io/embed/job_board?for=airbnb` also work)
  - Lever: `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify`
  - Ashby: `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai`
  - Workable: `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface`
  - SmartRecruiters: `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/<company>`
- **Just the company slug**, for example `stripe` or `openai`. The robot then tries Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters in that order and keeps the first one that has open jobs.

Optional filters keep only jobs whose title contains your keywords or whose location contains a text such as `Remote` or `Brazil`. What comes out is one row per job with platform, company, job ID, title, department, location, remote flag, employment type, salary (when published), publish date, link and the full description as plain text.

### What data can you extract?

| Field | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| `platform` | ATS the job came from: `greenhouse`, `lever`, `ashby`, `workable` or `smartrecruiters` | `greenhouse` |
| `company` | Company slug used on the career site | `airbnb` |
| `jobId` | Job ID on that platform | `8184174` |
| `title` | Job title | `Associate Legal Counsel, Japan` |
| `department` | Department or team, when the board lists one | `Legal` |
| `location` | Location text; several locations are joined with `; ` | `London; Stockholm` |
| `remote` | `true` when the platform marks the job as remote | `false` |
| `employmentType` | Employment type as the platform names it | `FullTime` |
| `salary` | Pay range, when the company publishes it (Ashby and Lever) | `$257K – $335K • Offers Equity` |
| `postedAt` | Publish date as the platform gives it | `2026-09-09T04:35:19-04:00` |
| `url` | Link to the job posting | `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify/2193db3f-77c5-43b8-b030-8f92c9882bf1` |
| `description` | Full job description as plain text (when Include description is on) | `Airbnb was born in 2007…` |
| `scrapedAt` | When the row was collected (UTC) | `2026-10-07T19:38:04.501Z` |
| `error` | Only on error rows: what went wrong | `No open jobs found` |

Not every platform fills every field. This is what each feed provides:

| Platform | `department` | `employmentType` | `salary` | `description` | `remote` is based on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse | yes | no (always `null`) | no | yes | "remote" in the location text |
| Lever | department or team | yes (commitment) | yes, when a salary range is set | yes | workplace type |
| Ashby | department or team | yes | yes, when compensation is published | yes | remote flag or workplace type |
| Workable | yes | yes | no | yes | telecommuting flag |
| SmartRecruiters | department or function | yes | no | no (always `null`) | remote flag |

The format of `postedAt` also follows the platform: Greenhouse and Ashby give a timestamp with time zone, Lever is converted to UTC, and Workable may give a plain date such as `2026-05-29`.

### How to use Career Site Jobs

1. Open the robot in Apify Console and go to the **Input** tab.
2. In **Companies**, paste career page URLs or company slugs, one per line.
3. Optional: add **Title keywords** (for example `engineer`, `sales`) and a **Location contains** text (for example `Remote`, `London`, `Brazil`).
4. Choose whether to **Include description** and set **Max jobs** for the whole run.
5. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
6. Open the **Output** tab to see the Jobs table, then export the data as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML.
7. Optional: save the input as a task and schedule it daily to keep a job feed fresh.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `companies` | array of strings | `["https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb"]` | Career page URLs or company slugs. |
| `keywords` | array of strings | none | Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (not case-sensitive). |
| `location` | string | none | Keep only jobs whose location contains this text (not case-sensitive). `Remote` also keeps jobs flagged as remote. |
| `includeDescription` | boolean | `true` | Add the full job description as plain text. Turn off for smaller exports. |
| `maxItems` | integer | `1000` | Maximum jobs in total for the whole run (minimum 1). |

Example input:

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb",
    "openai",
    "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify"
  ],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "product"],
  "location": "Remote",
  "includeDescription": true,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

### Output example

One real row from the latest run (Airbnb on Greenhouse). The description is shortened.

```json
{
  "platform": "greenhouse",
  "company": "airbnb",
  "jobId": "8184174",
  "title": "Account Manager ",
  "department": "Business Development",
  "location": "London, United Kingdom",
  "remote": false,
  "employmentType": null,
  "salary": null,
  "postedAt": "2026-09-09T04:35:19-04:00",
  "url": "https://careers.airbnb.com/positions/8184174?gh_jid=8184174",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-07T19:38:04.501Z",
  "description": "Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts…"
}
```

A row from an Ashby board can carry a salary, for example `"employmentType": "FullTime"` and `"salary": "$257K – $335K • Offers Equity"`. When a company has no open jobs on any supported platform, you get an error row like `{"company": "Visa", "error": "No open jobs found"}`.

### How much does it cost?

The robot uses **pay per event** pricing: you pay **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.0015 per job returned) on the Free plan. Platform usage is included in the price, so there is no separate charge for compute.

| Apify plan | Price per 1,000 jobs |
|---|---|
| Free | $1.50 |
| Bronze (10% off) | $1.35 |
| Silver (20% off) | $1.20 |
| Gold and higher (30% off) | $1.05 |

Worked examples on the Free plan:

- One company with 162 open jobs (Airbnb in the latest run): about **$0.24**.
- A run that hits the default limit of 1,000 jobs: **$1.50**.
- 10,000 jobs from a list of companies: **$15.00** (or $10.50 on Gold).

What is **not** charged: companies with no open jobs (error rows), entries that are neither a URL nor a slug (skipped with a log warning), jobs removed by your keyword or location filters, and jobs beyond `maxItems`. You pay only for the job rows you receive.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and niche aggregators:** build a remote, AI, fintech or startup job board from the career pages of the companies you choose.
- **Hiring signals for B2B sales:** see which target accounts are hiring engineers, sales or support staff this week.
- **Talent intelligence:** track how many roles competitors open, in which departments and locations.
- **Salary benchmarks:** collect published pay ranges from Ashby and Lever boards.
- **Recruiting agencies:** get every new role at your client companies each morning with a scheduled run.
- **Job alerts:** filter by title and location, then send new rows to Slack, email or a webhook.
- **Labor market research:** build datasets of postings across many companies in one format.

### Tips and limits

- **Five platforms only.** Companies whose careers page runs on another system, or on a fully custom site, return the error row `No open jobs found`.
- **Prefer full URLs.** A bare slug is tried on each platform in a fixed order and the first board with jobs wins. If a different company uses the same slug on an earlier platform, you could get its jobs. A career page URL avoids that.
- **Workable links** must look like `https://apply.workable.com/<company>`.
- **`company` is the slug** from the URL or input, not the display name of the company.
- **SmartRecruiters:** up to 5,000 postings per company are read, and descriptions are not available.
- **Salary** is only filled for Ashby and Lever, and only when the company publishes it.
- **Filters run after download.** Keyword and location filters are applied to the full list of each company, and you pay only for the jobs that pass.
- **`maxItems` is for the whole run.** Companies are processed in the order you list them; once the limit is reached, the rest are skipped.
- **Snapshots, not history.** Each run returns the jobs open at that moment. Compare `jobId` between scheduled runs to find new and closed roles.

### Use it from the API, Python or JavaScript

JavaScript (Node.js) with the official `apify-client` package:

```javascript
const { ApifyClient } = require('apify-client');
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_TOKEN' });
const input = { companies: ['https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai', 'stripe'], keywords: ['engineer'], maxItems: 300 };
const run = await client.actor('juliob.rangel/career-site-jobs').call(input);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

Python with the official `apify-client` package:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient('YOUR_TOKEN')
input = {'companies': ['https://jobs.lever.co/spotify'], 'location': 'Remote', 'includeDescription': False}
run = client.actor('juliob.rangel/career-site-jobs').call(run_input=input)
items = client.dataset(run['defaultDatasetId']).list_items().items
print(items)
```

You can also connect the robot to Make, Zapier or n8n, export results to Google Sheets, send them to a webhook when a run finishes, or let AI agents call it through the Apify MCP server.

### FAQ

**Do I need a login, cookies or an API key from the ATS?**
No. The robot reads the public job board feeds that power each company's career page. You only need an Apify account.

**Can I export the jobs to Excel or CSV?**
Yes. Download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML from the Output tab, or read it through the API.

**How many jobs can I get?**
All open jobs of each company, up to `maxItems` for the whole run (1,000 by default, and you can set it higher). For SmartRecruiters the robot reads up to 5,000 postings per company.

**How do I know which platform a company uses?**
Paste the slug and the robot tries all five platforms. The `platform` field tells you where the jobs were found.

**Why did I get the error "No open jobs found"?**
The company is not on one of the five supported platforms, its slug on the career site is different from what you typed, or it has no open roles right now. Error rows are free.

**Does it include salaries?**
Yes, when the company publishes them on Ashby or Lever. Greenhouse, Workable and SmartRecruiters rows have `salary` set to `null`.

**Is scraping career sites legal?**
The robot only collects publicly available job postings. You are responsible for complying with each site's terms and with privacy laws such as GDPR and LGPD. If a posting contains personal data, such as a recruiter's name, you need a legitimate reason to process it.
