## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 record scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Paved Newsletter Sponsorship Marketplace Scraper

Scrape Paved's newsletter advertising marketplace for the ad inventory media buyers shop: subscriber counts, sponsored post/email/dedicated-email pricing, ad formats, next open slot, category, and social-proof signals like past advertisers and verified/featured/in-demand badges.

### What it does

This actor scrapes newsletter listings from [Paved](https://www.paved.com/marketplace), the newsletter advertising marketplace advertisers use to find and price newsletter sponsorships.

For each newsletter it extracts:

- Name, domain, category, logo, and Paved profile URL
- Subscriber count and a free-text audience description (often includes geography and demographics)
- Ad formats offered (Sponsored Posts, Sponsored Emails, Dedicated Emails) and the listed price(s) for each
- Next available open ad slot date and how many upcoming slots are open
- Verified / top-rated / in-demand / featured / has-discounts flags and the maximum discount offered
- Campaign history — successful campaign count, repeat campaigns, rebookings, days since the listing was last updated
- Paved's computed estimated earnings-per-visit (an ROI/CPM-style benchmark)
- Names of brands that have previously sponsored the newsletter, when published

### Use cases

- **Media buying** — build a shortlist of newsletters by category, audience size, and price
- **Rate-card research** — see what comparable newsletters charge for sponsored posts, sponsored emails, and dedicated sends
- **Prospecting** — find newsletters with open ad slots in a specific niche
- **Competitive intelligence** — see which brands have sponsored a given newsletter before
- **Budget planning** — filter by subscriber count to match a target reach and spend

### Input

| Field            | Type    | Default | Description                                                                                  |
|------------------|---------|---------|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| `categories`     | array   | All     | Newsletter category filter(s), multi-select (e.g. `Tech`, `Finance`, `Business`)             |
| `adFormats`      | array   | All     | Ad format filter(s), multi-select: `Sponsored Posts`, `Sponsored Emails`, `Dedicated Emails` |
| `minSubscribers` | integer | —       | Only include newsletters with at least this many subscribers                                 |
| `maxItems`       | integer | 15      | Maximum newsletter listings to scrape                                                        |

Leave `categories` and `adFormats` empty to scrape the full marketplace.

```
### Notes
- Price fields are arrays because a newsletter can publish more than one price point for the same ad format (e.g. different placements within a sponsored email).
- `next_available_date` and `available_slot_count` reflect only upcoming dates the publisher has currently published as open — a sold-out newsletter returns `null` / `0`.
- Fields like `rebookings`, `max_discount_pct`, and `featured` are only present when the publisher has set them; most listings populate the majority of fields.
