## Changelog

### 2026-11-07

- The Actor's title now names the Meta Ad Library and the Facebook Ad Library.
- A run the platform restarted keeps its count of rows not charged, when storing them failed.

### 2026-11-06

- **Latest ads per Page** now goes up to 1,000: past the first 30, the Page's list is read further. A monitor still returns up to 30 new ads per Page. When the run's maximum cost leaves room for fewer ads than asked, or the Page's list can't be read further, the record carries the ads it has and says why in `missing`. If reading further fails partway, the record still gives the Page's ad count and the ads read so far, charged for those only, and says the rest were not read.
- An Ad Library link's own filters now apply to its line: country, ad status, media type, platforms, languages and start dates. The record shows them. A link with a filter the run does not apply is skipped, not charged, and its record says why.
- In a monitor, a Page given by an Ad Library link whose filters differ from the run's (for example `country=ALL&active_status=all` in a run for one country and running ads) is now watched under the link's filters, so its first run after this update starts it over: it returns the Page's latest ads, without `newAds` or `changed`. Page IDs, names and links that match the run's filters keep their history.
- A link that searches within the Page, shows only ended ads, sorts by impressions, names several countries or picks another ad category is now skipped and not charged, with its reason in the record. Earlier versions read such a link as the Page's latest ads, which it is not.
- A link's parameters that the Actor does not know, such as a share link's tracking, are read past. The record lists their names in `ignoredParams`. Two links to one Page under the same filters are looked up, and charged, once.
- A run the platform restarted now still says when an answer before the restart came in a form the Actor does not read, and RUN_SUMMARY's `complete` stays false. A run started on an earlier version and resurrected on this one ends with `complete` false, as what its earlier part met is not known.
- A run the platform restarted counts each Page whose ads the library counted but didn't show once in its closing message, not twice.
- The number of results in RUN_SUMMARY and the closing message leaves out the rows that charge nothing, such as a line that is not a Page or a query the run could not read.
- The run's progress record (RUN_PROGRESS) has one more field, `carry`: a code the run carries from one part to the next, not meant to be read.
- The description of **Latest ads per Page** now says that with a monitor, 0 counts the new ads and returns none.
- The README's FAQ now says how to tell a name that found no Page from a Page that was found and withheld as a person's.
