## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 opportunities

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SAM.gov Contract Opportunities & DLA Solicitations Feed

Get a filtered feed of SAM.gov federal contract opportunities, DLA solicitations, sources sought notices, small business set-asides and award notices, straight from the official public SAM.gov daily extract. No portal scraping, no login, no API key.

### What does the SAM.gov opportunities feed do?

SAM.gov publishes every federal contract notice in a public daily data extract (sam.gov/data-services). This Actor reads that official file, keeps only the notices that match your filters (posted date, notice type, NAICS, PSC, set-aside, agency, state, keywords) and returns one clean row per notice with the solicitation number, agency and office, response deadline, contracting officer contact, award amount and awardee, the SAM.gov link and the full description as plain text.

Because it uses the sanctioned public extract instead of the SAM.gov search pages, runs do not break when the portal changes and nothing is blocked. A typical run takes 5 to 15 seconds.

### Who is it for?

- **Government contractors and small businesses:** a daily list of new solicitations and sources sought in your NAICS codes and set-aside category, ready for bid/no-bid.
- **DLA suppliers and parts distributors:** every new DLA solicitation and presolicitation (NSN, part number, solicitation number, due date) without searching DIBBS or SAM.gov by hand.
- **GovCon consultants and BD teams:** award notices with awardee and amount for competitor tracking and teaming leads.
- **Sales and data teams:** a structured feed of federal buying signals for a CRM, Google Sheets or Slack.

### How much does it cost?

You pay only for results: **$2.50 per 1,000 notices** on the Free plan, with lower prices on paid Apify plans. Example: a daily feed of 40 notices costs about $0.10 per day, about $3 per month. Notices skipped by "Only new notices" are not charged. Set "Max notices" or a maximum cost per run to cap spending.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Pick the window (for example the last 3 days) and the notice types you care about.
3. Narrow it down with NAICS codes, set-asides, agencies (DLA, VA, ARMY, ...), states or keywords. Leave a filter empty to keep everything.
4. Click **Start** and download the notices as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.
5. For a daily feed: set "Posted within the last N days" to 2, switch on **Only new notices since the last run**, save it as a task and add a daily schedule. Each run then delivers only notices you have not received yet.

### Integrations and API

Run it from your code with the Apify API or the `apify-client` package, schedule it in Apify, or connect it to Make, n8n, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack or a webhook.

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("kamerozkan/sam-gov-opportunities-feed").call(run_input={
    "postedWithinDays": 2,
    "noticeTypes": ["Solicitation", "Sources Sought"],
    "naicsCodes": ["5415"],
    "setAsides": ["SBA"],
    "onlyNew": True,
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["responseDeadline"], item["title"], item["samUrl"])
```

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?**
From the official SAM.gov Contract Opportunities public extract that GSA publishes for download (sam.gov/data-services). It is refreshed once a day, so the newest notices are usually from the previous day. Each row has `extractUpdatedAt` so you can see which daily file it came from.

**How do I get only DLA solicitations?**
Set Agencies to `DLA` and Notice types to `Solicitation` and `Presolicitation`. Add PSC codes (for example `16` for aircraft components) or NAICS codes to narrow it further.

**How does "Only new notices since the last run" work?**
The Actor remembers the notice ids it delivered for the same filters in a key-value store of your account. The next run skips those, and skipped notices are not charged. Change a filter and the memory starts fresh for that filter set.

**Are amendments included?**
Yes. SAM.gov gives each amendment its own notice id, so an amended solicitation can appear more than once with the same solicitation number. Group by `solicitationNumber` if you only want the latest version.

**Why is the description sometimes "See attached."?**
Some agencies put the details only in attachments. Open `samUrl` to download them from SAM.gov.

**Whose contact details are in the data?**
Only the contracting officers and specialists each agency publishes on its notice, in their official role.
