## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Soccer Odds Delta Feed — line movement, not line dumps

Every odds actor on this store hands you the whole board every run. You pay for the same
hundreds of rows a hundred times a day and diff them yourself.

This one returns **only the lines that moved**. Poll it every minute, pay for the movement,
and get `previous → current` already computed.

Covers LaLiga, Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and MLS
through ESPN's public feed.

### What you get per row

```json
{
  "event_key": "soccer:uefa.champions:740123",
  "event": "VFB @ GAL",
  "market": "total",
  "selection": "over",
  "point": 2.5,
  "book": "draftkings",
  "decimal_price": 1.8696,
  "american_price": -115,
  "implied_prob": 0.534884,
  "kickoff_utc": "2026-11-03T20:00Z",
  "captured_at": "2026-11-03T23:20:32+00:00"
}
```

Markets: `moneyline` (1X2), `spread` (handicap), `total` (goals). Decimal and American
prices plus implied probability.

### Two modes

| Mode | Use it for | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| `latest` | First call, or a full resync | Every row returned |
| `deltas` | Polling — the normal case | Only rows that moved |

`deltas` needs a `sinceRun`. Run once in `latest`, read the `run_id` from the run summary,
then poll `deltas` with that id.

### Leagues

`esp.1` LaLiga · `uefa.champions` Champions League · `eng.1` Premier League · `ita.1` Serie A
· `ger.1` Bundesliga · `fra.1` Ligue 1 · `usa.1` MLS

Set `league` to any ESPN soccer league slug. Default is LaLiga (`esp.1`).

### Who this is for

- **Line-movement and closing-line-value work** on soccer, without storing the world.
- **Agents and LLM tools** that poll on a schedule and only want the diff.
- **Arbitrage scanners** that need to know when a price moved, not what every price is.

### Honest limitations

- **One book via the live source** (ESPN's public feed surfaces DraftKings). Multi-book
  coverage comes through the `ingest` source, where you supply a normalised JSON file.
- **Pre-match prices**, not in-play. `is_live` is on the row.
- **Upstream is best-effort.** A match that fails to answer is skipped, never invented.
