## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## India Exchange Filings: NSE Corporate Announcements

Every corporate announcement filed with the National Stock Exchange of India, as structured rows with the PDF link. Investor presentations, board meeting outcomes, results, pledges, appointments, all of it, as the exchange publishes it. BSE is accepted as an input and skipped until its endpoint opens.

### What you get

One row per announcement, flat JSON. Example row:

```json
{
  "exchange": "nse",
  "symbol": "DCW",
  "company": "DCW Limited",
  "subject": "Investor Presentation",
  "description": "DCW Limited has informed the Exchange about Investor Presentation",
  "announced_at": "2026-10-29T17:56:01.000Z",
  "attachment_url": "https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/DCW_29102026232550_Covering_Letter_Investors_Presentation_29-10-2026.pdf",
  "attachment_size": "1.08 MB",
  "industry": "Chemicals - Inorganic",
  "isin": "INE500A01029",
  "source_id": "106835588",
  "scraped_at": "2026-10-29T18:10:00.000Z"
}
```

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| exchange | `nse` |
| symbol | Trading symbol |
| company | Company name as filed |
| subject | Announcement category |
| description | One-line summary from the exchange |
| announced_at | Dissemination time, ISO 8601 UTC |
| attachment_url | Direct link to the filed PDF |
| attachment_size | Size of the PDF |
| industry | Exchange industry label, when present |
| isin | Security ISIN |
| source_id | Exchange sequence id, stable per announcement |
| scraped_at | When this row was collected |

### What you give

- **Exchanges**: `nse`. Default.
- **Days back**: 1 to 30. Default 3.
- **Symbol**: optional, one NSE symbol to filter by.
- **Max results**: stop after this many rows. Default 500.
- **Proxy**: Apify Proxy, on by default. Use a residential group if the exchange blocks datacenter addresses.

### What it costs

You pay per announcement row. At $3 per 1,000 rows, a full trading day of about 400 announcements costs about $1.20. Nothing else is charged. Rows beyond **Max results** are never fetched or billed.

### Legal

Reads only the public announcement feed that the exchange serves to any browser, without logging in. No personal data is collected.

### Speed

One request per exchange per run. A day of announcements returns in a few seconds. Thirty days returns in under a minute.

# Actor input Schema

## `exchanges` (type: `array`):

Which exchanges to read. Only "nse" is available today; "bse" is accepted and skipped until its endpoint opens.

## `days` (type: `integer`):

How many days of announcements to fetch, counting back from today. Default 3, so weekends and holidays still return rows.

## `symbol` (type: `string`):

Optional NSE symbol to filter by, for example RELIANCE.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many announcements. You are charged per announcement.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy settings. Switch to a residential group if the exchange blocks datacenter addresses.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "exchanges": [
    "nse"
  ],
  "days": 3,
  "maxResults": 500,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

No description

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "exchanges": [
        "nse"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("kiran_4897/india-exchange-filings").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
