## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Scraper & Monitor – Prices, Stock, New Products

Scrape the **full product catalog of any Shopify store** – titles, prices, compare-at prices, discounts, variants with SKU and stock, vendors, tags and images – and **monitor competitors** automatically: **new products, removed products, price drops and increases, discounts, sold-out and back-in-stock** changes since the last run, with **Slack / webhook alerts** and a shareable report.

- ✅ Paste a domain (`allbirds.com`) or a collection URL (`/collections/lips`) – no API key, no login.
- ✅ Every variant (size / color) with SKU, price, compare-at price and availability.
- ✅ **Change detection between runs**: `new`, `removed`, `price_drop`, `price_increase`, `discount_started`, `discount_ended`, `back_in_stock`, `sold_out`, plus variant-level restocks and sell-outs.
- ✅ **Monitoring mode**: return – and pay for – only changed products.
- ✅ **Store stats**: products, on sale and average discount, sold out, median price, products launched in the last 30 days, top vendors and product types.
- ✅ Clear messages for stores that are not on Shopify or block their feed.

### Who uses it

| You are | You get |
|---|---|
| **DTC brands & e-commerce managers** | Competitor price changes, new launches and sales every morning in Slack. |
| **Dropshippers & resellers** | Back-in-stock and sold-out alerts on the products you source. |
| **Agencies & analysts** | Catalog, pricing and assortment snapshots of any Shopify store, with history. |
| **Deal & price-tracking sites** | A daily feed of discounts and price drops across hundreds of stores. |

### How to use it

1. Add store domains or collection URLs (one per line).
2. Choose the maximum number of products per store and whether to include variants and descriptions.
3. Run once for a catalog export – or turn on **Only changed products**, pick the **changes to report**, add a Slack webhook and schedule the run daily.

```json
{
    "stores": ["competitor-one.com", "https://competitor-two.com/collections/new-arrivals"],
    "onlyChanges": true,
    "changeTypes": ["new", "price_drop", "discount_started", "back_in_stock"],
    "minPriceChangePercent": 5,
    "slackWebhookUrl": "https://hooks.slack.com/services/…"
}
```

### Output

One row per product (and one per removed product):

```json
{
    "store": "deathwishcoffee.com",
    "storeName": "Death Wish Coffee",
    "title": "Valhalla Java Single-Serve Pods",
    "url": "https://deathwishcoffee.com/products/valhalla-java-single-serve-pods",
    "vendor": "Death Wish Coffee Company",
    "productType": "Coffee Pods",
    "price": 14.99,
    "compareAtPrice": null,
    "discountPercent": null,
    "currency": "USD",
    "available": true,
    "variantsTotal": 2,
    "variantsAvailable": 2,
    "changeType": "price_drop",
    "changeTypes": ["price_drop", "variant_price"],
    "previousPrice": 18.74,
    "priceChangePercent": -20,
    "changes": [{ "type": "price_drop", "from": 18.74, "to": 14.99, "percent": -20 }],
    "firstSeenAt": "2026-10-25T04:20:11.000Z",
    "variants": [{ "id": "4183…", "title": "12 Count", "sku": "VJ-12", "price": 14.99, "compareAtPrice": null, "available": true }]
}
```

Also: `productId`, `handle`, `tags`, `maxPrice`, `image`, `imagesCount`, `options`, `createdAt`, `publishedAt`, `updatedAt`, optional `description`. Store stats are in `OUTPUT.stores` and in the HTML report.

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Product row | **$1.00 per 1,000 products** ($0.80 on Gold and higher Apify plans) |
| Store checked | $0.005 per store per run |

Examples: a one-off export of a 2,000-product store ≈ **$2.01**. Monitoring 10 competitor stores daily in "only changed products" mode ≈ **$1.50 / month** for the checks plus $1 per 1,000 changed products. The Apify free plan checks up to 3 stores per run.

### FAQ

**Which stores work?** Stores built on Shopify whose public product feed is on (most are). Some large brands block it or sit behind a bot wall – those are listed in `OUTPUT.problems` and you are not charged for them. Residential proxies (Advanced settings) help for some.

**Are prices in my currency?** Prices are in the store's default currency (`currency`).

**How are removed products detected?** By comparing the full catalog with the previous run. If the store has more products than "Max products per store", removed products are not reported for that run.

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads public product information that the store publishes for every visitor. It does not log in or collect personal data.

# Actor input Schema

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Store domains or URLs, one per line, e.g. <code>allbirds.com</code>, <code>https://www.brooklinen.com</code>. Paste a collection URL (<code>https://colourpop.com/collections/lips</code>) to track only that collection.

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit of products read per store. Removed products are only detected when the whole catalog fits in this limit.

## `includeVariants` (type: `boolean`):

Add every variant (size / color) with SKU, price, compare-at price and stock status.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the product description as plain text.

## `onlyChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default (the whole catalog is returned, each product with <code>changeTypes</code> since the last run). When on, the first run saves the catalog as a baseline and later runs return – and charge – only products that changed.

## `changeTypes` (type: `array`):

Optional. Leave empty to report every type of change.

## `minPriceChangePercent` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Ignore price changes smaller than this, e.g. 5.

## `trackingId` (type: `string`):

Optional. Runs with the same tracking name compare against each other (default: <code>default</code>). Use different names for different schedules.

## `slackWebhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional. A Slack <a href="https://api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks" target="_blank">Incoming Webhook</a> URL (https://hooks.slack.com/services/…). After a run you get one summary message in that channel. Stored encrypted.

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

Optional. Any https endpoint (Make, Zapier, n8n, a Microsoft Teams workflow or your own server). Receives one JSON POST per run with counts, items and the report link. Stored encrypted.

## `notifyOn` (type: `string`):

When the Slack / webhook message is sent.

## `publicReport` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default. When on, the HTML report (stores, changes, 7- and 30-day trends) is kept at one fixed link per Tracking name (OUTPUT.reportUrl) – share it with your team or a client. Anyone with the link can open it.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy (datacenter) works for most stores. Use residential proxies for stores that block datacenter traffic.
