- Keyword filters with whole-word, phrase and prefix matching (`nokia*`), exclude keywords, languages and *published since*.
- Deduplication across sources by normalized URL and near-identical headline; optional *Same story* mode across publishers.
- Monitoring: *Only new articles* with a memory per saved task; sources added later return their current articles once as `INITIAL`. Unchanged feeds are not downloaded again (ETag / Last-Modified).
- Optional full article text where robots.txt allows; paywalled articles are skipped.
- Experimental worldwide keyword search with the GDELT DOC 2.0 API (off by default).
- robots.txt is checked for every URL and redirect; consent pages and bot checks stop the request.
