## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Singapore New Companies – ACRA B2B Leads

Get **companies that were recently registered in Singapore** – Pte. Ltd. companies, LLPs and more – from the official **ACRA** register published on **data.gov.sg**. Every row has the UEN, registration date, industry (SSIC) in English, declared activity, registered address, accounts due date and number of officers.

No API key, no scraping.

### What you get

- **~5,000 new Singapore companies per month**, newest first – about the last 13 months always available
- **Industry filter in plain English**: `software`, `restaurant`, `logistics`, `consultancy`… matched against official SSIC industry names and the company's own activity description, or give SSIC code prefixes (`62`, `56`, `70201`)
- **Location filter**: postal code prefixes (e.g. `01`–`08` for the CBD)
- **Entity types**: local companies and LLPs by default; limited partnerships and foreign company branches on request
- **Signals**: accounts due date and number of officers

### Typical uses

- **Sell to new Singapore businesses**: corporate secretarial, accounting, banking, insurance, HR/payroll, SaaS, office space
- **Regional expansion**: new companies in your target industry in Singapore this month
- **Market monitoring**: new registrations per industry
- **AI agents**: call it as a tool through the Apify MCP server ("new fintech companies in Singapore this month")

### Data notes

- **Monthly data**: ACRA publishes the dataset monthly on data.gov.sg; this Actor is rebuilt from each release. The default date range is the 30 days before the latest registration in the data.
- **Companies only**: sole proprietorships and general partnerships – whose names can be personal names – are **never included**. No officer or shareholder names are returned; `numberOfOfficers` is a count only.
- **Registered address** is the entity's official address, which may be a corporate secretary's office.
- **Industry names** come from the SSIC codes in the same ACRA dataset; a few very new codes may have no description yet.
- Look a company up by its UEN on the official Bizfile portal (`lookupUrl`).

### Data sources & license

- **ACRA Information on Corporate Entities**, published on data.gov.sg. Contains information from ACRA accessed via data.gov.sg under the terms of the **Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0** (https://data.gov.sg/open-data-licence).
- Every row includes `source` and `dataAsOf`.

### Disclaimer

This Actor is an independent product. It is **not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by** ACRA, GovTech or the Singapore government. Data is provided as published by the source, without warranty. No personal contact data (phone numbers, emails) is returned.

### FAQ

**Why don't I see companies from the last two weeks?** ACRA's open dataset is published monthly; newer registrations appear after the next refresh.

**How fast is it?** A few seconds – the data is pre-indexed.
