## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Feed — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable & SmartRecruiters jobs API

Get **every open job from any company's careers page** on the five most common applicant tracking systems, in **one normalized schema**, using each ATS's **official public job-board API**. No proxies, no browser, no login, no scraping of HTML — so runs are fast (most boards < 1 s) and cheap.

### What you can do with it

- **Job boards & aggregators**: feed hundreds of companies' openings into your site with one consistent schema.
- **Sales / GTM hiring signals**: companies hiring SDRs, RevOps or data engineers are buying tools. Pull titles + departments for your target account list and trigger outreach.
- **Recruiting & talent intelligence**: track competitors' hiring by department, location and remote share.
- **Job alerts**: turn on *Only new since last run*, schedule daily, and get just the new postings (send to Slack/email via Apify integrations).
- **AI agents / MCP**: call it from Claude, ChatGPT or any Apify MCP client to answer "who is hiring X?".

### Input

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `companies` | `https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`, `apply.workable.com/huggingface`, `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/ServiceNow`, `greenhouse:airbnb`, or just `figma` (auto-detected) |
| `keywords` | `["engineer", "sales"]` — title contains any |
| `locations` | `["New York", "London"]` |
| `remoteOnly` | `true` |
| `postedWithinDays` | `7` |
| `includeDescription` | `true` for full text + HTML |
| `onlyNewSinceLastRun` | `true` for monitoring |

### Output (one row per job)

```json
{
  "company": "Ramp", "ats": "ashby", "jobId": "…", "title": "Senior Software Engineer, Backend",
  "department": "Engineering", "team": "Payments", "location": "New York, NY (HQ)", "remote": false,
  "employmentType": "FullTime", "postedAt": "2026-10-01T…Z", "updatedAt": null,
  "salary": { "summary": "$180K – $260K • Offers Equity" },
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/…", "boardSlug": "ramp", "scrapedAt": "2026-10-14T…Z"
}
```

Salary is included when the company publishes it (Lever salary ranges, Ashby compensation summaries).

### Coverage tested (Oct 2026)

Stripe 725 jobs, OpenAI 806, Palantir 314, Ubisoft 327, Ramp 162, Airbnb 163, Notion 130, Figma 146, Spotify 81, Linear 30, Hugging Face 6 — 11/11 real boards.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you pay only for jobs returned plus a tiny per-company fee — no monthly rental. Compute is minimal because it calls JSON APIs directly.

### Why official APIs

Greenhouse Job Board API, Lever Postings API, Ashby Posting API, Workable widget API and SmartRecruiters Posting API are published by the vendors for exactly this purpose (displaying a company's public openings). Only publicly listed jobs are returned; no personal data.

### FAQ

**A company isn't found?** Paste its careers URL instead of the name. If it uses Workday, iCIMS or a custom site it isn't supported yet — open an issue and we'll prioritize the most-requested ATS.
**How fresh?** Live at run time; postings come straight from the ATS.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Careers URLs (boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, apply.workable.com/huggingface, jobs.smartrecruiters.com/ServiceNow) or 'ats:slug' (greenhouse:stripe). Bare names (e.g. 'figma') are auto-detected across all 5 ATSs.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these (case-insensitive).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these (case-insensitive).

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs flagged remote by the ATS or with 'remote/anywhere' in the location.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs posted or updated in the last N days.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add full job description (text + HTML). Larger output.

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

Monitoring mode: remembers job IDs across runs (named key-value store) and outputs only new postings. Schedule it daily for a new-jobs alert feed.
