## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Greenhouse Jobs Scraper (Job Board API)

**Press Start. The input is already filled in.** It pulls every open job from Stripe, Databricks and Airbnb's Greenhouse boards: **1,813 jobs in 3 seconds** (test run, 23 Oct 2026). Replace the three companies with any Greenhouse slug or careers URL.

**Salaries included.** 11,338 of 33,218 jobs (34%) across the 1,280-board directory of our multi-ATS actor carry the pay range the employer published (Greenhouse pay-transparency ranges), as flat `salaryMin` / `salaryMax` / `salaryCurrency` / `salaryInterval` plus annualised `salaryMinYearly` / `salaryMaxYearly` and `hasSalary`. Filter with **Only jobs with a published salary** or **Minimum salary (yearly)**, e.g. `{"companies": ["figma"], "minSalaryYearly": 200000}`. Measured 23 Oct 2026.

| What you get | |
|---|---|
| Price | **$0.80 per 1,000 jobs**, and less on paid Apify plans: $0.72 (Starter), $0.64 (Scale), $0.56 (Business). No start fee. Apify's free monthly credit covers your first runs |
| Bill cap | Set *Max cost per run* in the run options and you are never charged past it. The `postedWithinDays`, `keywords` and `locations` filters cut cost further |
| Reliability | Official public Greenhouse Job Board API. No proxies, browser or login. Re-tested on the Apify platform on 23 Oct 2026 |

Want more than one ATS in one run? [ATS Jobs API](https://apify.com/krasyn-side/ats-jobs-feed) covers 17 ATSs and can keyword-search 1,280+ company boards with no company list.

**Get every open job from any company's Greenhouse careers page as clean JSON.** Give it Greenhouse board slugs or URLs; it returns one row per job with title, department, team, location, remote flag, employment type, posted date, salary (where published) and apply URL. Filter by title keyword, location, remote and recency, or switch on monitoring mode to get only jobs that are new since the last run.

It **uses the official public Greenhouse Job Board API, no login, no proxies**, no browser and no HTML scraping, so runs are fast and cheap and do not break when a careers page is redesigned.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and aggregators**: pull hundreds of Greenhouse companies into one consistent schema.
- **Sales hiring signals**: companies hiring SDRs, RevOps or data engineers are buying tools. Watch your target accounts' Greenhouse boards.
- **Recruiting and talent intelligence**: track competitors' hiring by department, location and remote share.
- **Job alerts**: turn on *Only jobs not seen in previous runs*, schedule daily, and push new postings to Slack, email or a webhook.
- **AI agents (MCP)**: let Claude or ChatGPT answer "who is hiring X on Greenhouse?".

### Example input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "stripe",
    "databricks",
    "airbnb"
  ],
  "keywords": [
    "engineer"
  ],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "includeDescription": false,
  "onlyNewSinceLastRun": false
}
```

`companies` accepts a slug (`stripe`), `greenhouse:stripe`, or a Greenhouse board URL such as https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/databricks.

### Example output (one row per job)

```json
{
  "ats": "greenhouse",
  "company": "Stripe",
  "jobId": "8172510",
  "title": "Abuse Investigator",
  "department": "8611 Security Analytics",
  "team": null,
  "location": "Seattle, San Francisco, New York City",
  "remote": false,
  "employmentType": null,
  "postedAt": "2026-09-09T10:50:29-04:00",
  "updatedAt": "2026-10-07T19:02:27-04:00",
  "applyUrl": "https://stripe.com/jobs/search?gh_jid=8172510",
  "salary": null,
  "boardSlug": "stripe",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-14T12:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### Input fields

| Field | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| `companies` | string\[] | Greenhouse board slugs or URLs (required) |
| `keywords` | string\[] | Keep jobs whose title contains any of these (case-insensitive) |
| `locations` | string\[] | Keep jobs whose location contains any of these |
| `remoteOnly` | boolean | Only jobs flagged remote or with "remote/anywhere" in the location |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | Only jobs posted or updated in the last N days |
| `includeDescription` | boolean | Add `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml` (larger output) |
| `onlyNewSinceLastRun` | boolean | Monitoring mode: remembers job IDs across runs and outputs only new postings |

### Output fields

`company`, `ats` (always `greenhouse`), `jobId`, `title`, `department`, `team`, `location`, `remote`, `employmentType`, `postedAt`, `updatedAt`, `salary`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `salaryMinYearly`, `salaryMaxYearly`, `hasSalary`, `applyUrl`, `boardSlug`, `scrapedAt`, plus `descriptionText` / `descriptionHtml` when requested. Fields the Greenhouse API does not publish are `null`.

Greenhouse publishes department, location, first-published and updated timestamps. Salary comes from the board API's pay-transparency ranges (`pay_input_ranges`), which most US employers now publish.

### Pricing

**$0.0008 per job returned** (that is $0.80 per 1,000 jobs), pay-per-event, with **no start fee** and no monthly rental. Filtered-out jobs and jobs skipped in monitoring mode are not charged.

### Other ATSs

- No company list? **[ATS Jobs Feed](https://apify.com/krasyn-side/ats-jobs-feed)** can search by keyword across its built-in directory of 14,000+ company career boards across 11 ATSs (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, BambooHR, Personio, Rippling, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor, Breezy HR, Recruitee, Workable; about 450k open jobs) and return every matching job, at $1 per 1,000 jobs.
- Need several ATSs in one run? The same **[ATS Jobs Feed](https://apify.com/krasyn-side/ats-jobs-feed)** covers 17 (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Breezy HR, BambooHR, Rippling, Teamtailor, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Eightfold, ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS, Jobvite, SuccessFactors) in one schema.
- Remote-only roles from WeWorkRemotely, Remote OK, Jobicy and Arbeitnow, deduplicated: **[Remote Jobs Aggregator](https://apify.com/krasyn-side/remote-jobs-aggregator)**.
- Company on Workday? Use **[Workday Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/krasyn-side/workday-jobs-scraper)**.

### FAQ

**A company returns no jobs?** Check that its careers page is hosted on Greenhouse (the URL contains boards.greenhouse.io) and paste that URL. Companies on other ATSs need the ATS Jobs Feed actor above.
**How fresh is the data?** Live at run time, straight from Greenhouse.
**Is this allowed?** The Greenhouse Job Board API is published by Greenhouse so companies' public openings can be displayed elsewhere. Only publicly listed jobs are returned; no personal data.
