## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Public Tender Alerts (TED)

Find **new EU public procurement tenders** from [TED – Tenders Electronic Daily](https://ted.europa.eu), the official journal of EU public contracts, filtered by **country, CPV code, keyword and contract value**. Turn on **Only new notices** and schedule the Actor daily to get a clean list of tenders you haven't seen yet — no duplicates.

### What can you use it for?

- **Daily tender alerts** for your sector (e.g. IT services in Spain and Portugal).
- **Sales prospecting**: see which public buyers are spending on what, and when deadlines close.
- **Competitor intelligence**: track contract award notices to see who wins.
- **Feeding CRMs, Google Sheets or Slack** via Apify integrations (Make, Zapier, n8n, webhooks).

```
### Input
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Buyer countries | ISO alpha-3 codes, e.g. `ESP`, `PRT`, `FRA`. Empty = all countries |
| CPV code prefixes | e.g. `72` (IT services), `48` (software), `45` (construction) |
| Keywords | Full-text, any EU language, e.g. `cybersecurity`, `ciberseguridad` |
| Notice types | Open tenders, award notices (winners), prior information |
| Published in the last N days | 1–90 |
| Minimum estimated value | Skip small contracts |
| Only new notices | Alerts mode: returns only notices not returned before for the same filters |
| Preferred language | Language for titles and TED links |
| Max results | Up to 5,000 per run |
### How to get daily alerts
1. Set your filters and keep **Only new notices** on.
2. Click **Schedule** and choose daily.
3. Connect the dataset to email, Slack, Google Sheets or your CRM with Apify integrations.
### Pricing
Pay only for results: you are charged per tender returned. Runs that find nothing new cost almost nothing.
### Data source and notes
Data comes from the official public TED Search API of the Publications Office of the European Union. Estimated values are as published by buyers (lot-level, first lot) and may be missing for some notices. This Actor is not affiliated with the European Union.
