## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Airbnb Scraper: Listings, Prices, Calendar & Reviews

Scrape **Airbnb listings** by location or URL. Set your **dates and guests** to get the real **total price for the stay**, per-night price and discount. Every listing comes with name, rating, review count, **coordinates**, badges and photos. With **listing details** on, you also get the **full description, amenities, host profile, category ratings, house rules**, bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. Add a **12-month availability calendar** and **reviews** with English translations.

All in one actor, no login, no browser. Pay only per listing and per review delivered.

### Use cases

- **Short-term rental investors and property managers**: compare prices, occupancy (calendar) and ratings of competing listings in any area.
- **Revenue management**: track prices for specific dates and how they change before arrival.
- **Travel and data products**: build maps and catalogues with coordinates, photos and amenities.
- **Review analysis**: see what guests praise and complain about, with translations.

### How to use

1. Add locations, or paste Airbnb search or listing URLs.
2. Set **Check-in**, **Check-out** and guests for exact prices; optionally filter by price, type of place, bedrooms and badges.
3. Choose **Include listing details**, **Include availability calendar** and **Max reviews per listing**.
4. Run. Each listing and each review is one dataset record. The **Listings** and **Reviews** views in the Output tab show them as tables.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "locationQueries": ["Lisbon, Portugal"],
  "checkIn": "2026-11-12",
  "checkOut": "2026-11-15",
  "adults": 2,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "roomTypes": ["entire"],
  "maxListingsPerSearch": 200,
  "includeDetails": true,
  "includeCalendar": true,
  "maxReviewsPerListing": 20
}
```

### Pricing

- **Listing**: charged per listing saved to the dataset. Details and calendar are included, no extra charge.
- **Review**: charged per review saved to the dataset.

Searches that fail or find nothing are reported as `error` records and are **not charged**.

### Tips and limits

- Airbnb shows at most **15 pages of 18 listings** (about 270) for one search. For a whole city, search neighbourhoods or split by price range.
- Hotels and multi-unit listings ("5 apartments") often show no bedroom count; `bedrooms` is then `null`.
- Without dates, Airbnb prices a stay for its own suggested dates; set **Check-in** and **Check-out** for comparable prices.
- Turn off **Include listing details** for a fast list of prices and ratings only.
- Use **Schedules** in Apify Console to track prices and availability over time.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The actor reads public listing pages and reviews that Airbnb shows to every visitor. Use the data in line with Airbnb terms and data protection rules, especially for host and guest names.

**Why is the price different from what I see?** Prices depend on dates, guests, currency and your country. Set the same dates, guests and currency as in your browser.

**Something missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab and I will look at it.
