## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AliExpress Scraper: Products, Prices & Reviews

Scrape **AliExpress search results and product reviews**. Search by keyword or paste AliExpress search URLs, choose the **ship-to country and currency**, sort by orders or price, filter by price, free shipping and warehouse country. Every product comes with **price, original price, discount, rating, orders sold**, ship-from country, Choice and free-shipping flags, badges, promotion, images and URL. Add **reviews** for the products you find, or for any product URL, with text, English translation, stars, buyer country, variant and photos.

No login, no browser. Pay only per product and per review delivered.

### What you can paste

- **Keywords**: `wireless earbuds`, `led strip`, `phone case`
- **Search URLs** (filters in the URL are kept):
  - `https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-wireless-earbuds.html?minPrice=10&maxPrice=30`
  - `https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-led-strip.html?SortType=total_tranpro_desc`
- **Product URLs or IDs** for reviews: `https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006123456789.html` or `1005006123456789`

### What you get

#### Reviews

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `productId`, `reviewId` | 1005008908983422, 60123456789012345 |
| `rating`, `date` | 5, 17 Oct 2026 |

| `productRating`, `productReviewCount`, `productStars` | on the first review of each product: 4.8, 2154, stars 5 to 1 |

Fields AliExpress does not show for a product are `null`. `originalPrice` is filled only when the product is discounted. Welcome-gift products (`promotion`: "{FREE} with any purchase") show no price.

### Use cases

- **Dropshipping and product research**: find best sellers by orders, compare prices and discounts, check ship-from warehouses.
- **Price monitoring**: track prices and promotions of products or whole searches over time with Schedules.
- **Review analysis**: read what buyers love and hate before you sell a product, with translated texts and photos.
- **Market research**: see how many sellers, at what price and rating, compete for a keyword in a given country.

### How to use

1. Add keywords or paste AliExpress search URLs.
2. Choose **Ship to country**, **Currency** and **Sort by**; optionally set price, free shipping and ships-from filters.
3. Set **Max products per search**. Optionally set **Reviews per found product**, or list products under **Products for reviews**.
4. Run. Each product and each review is one dataset record. The **Products** and **Reviews** views in the Output tab show them as tables.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["wireless earbuds", "phone case"],
  "sortBy": "orders",
  "country": "DE",
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxProductsPerSearch": 300,
  "reviewsPerFoundProduct": 10
}
```

### Pricing

- **Product**: charged per product saved to the dataset.
- **Review**: charged per review saved to the dataset.

Searches that fail or find nothing are reported as `error` records and are **not charged**.

### Tips and limits

- AliExpress shows at most **60 pages of 60 products** for one search. For more, split a keyword into narrower ones or use price ranges.
- Product pages are rendered in the browser, so product data comes from search results. Item specifics and full descriptions are not included.
- Category pages (`/category/...`) are not supported yet; use a keyword search instead.
- Use **Schedules** in Apify Console for daily price and discount tracking.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The actor reads public product listings and reviews that AliExpress shows to every visitor. Use the data in line with AliExpress terms and data protection rules.

**Why do prices differ from what I see?** Prices depend on country, currency and current promotions. Set **Ship to country** and **Currency** to match your own view.

**Something missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab and I will look at it.
