## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Scraper: Car Listings, Prices & Dealers

Scrape **car listings from AutoScout24**, Europe's largest online car marketplace, on **autoscout24.com, .de, .it, .fr, .nl, .at, .es, .be, .pl and .lu**. Paste any search URL with your filters, or pick makes / models and set price, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox and seller filters here. Every listing comes with price and **AutoScout24 price rating**, mileage, first registration, fuel, gearbox, power, **seller (dealer or private) with phone numbers**, location and photos.

Turn on **listing details** for the full description, **equipment list**, body type, colour, seats and doors, previous owners, service history, accident-free flag, emission class, consumption, CO₂ and coordinates.

No login, no browser. Pay only per listing delivered.

### What you can paste

- **Search URLs** from any AutoScout24 site, with all filters you set on the website:
  - `https://www.autoscout24.de/lst/volkswagen/golf?atype=C&fregfrom=2018`
  - `https://www.autoscout24.it/lst/fiat/500?atype=C`
  - `https://www.autoscout24.be/fr/lst/peugeot`
- **Single listing pages**: `https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/...`
- **Makes / models** (with the filters in the input): `bmw`, `volkswagen/golf`, `audi/a4`

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `listingId`, `title`, `make`, `model`, `modelGroup`, `version` | Volkswagen Golf, 1.4 Euro 4 |
| `price`, `priceText`, `currency`, `priceRating` | 5100, € 5.100, EUR, good |
| `mileageKm`, `firstRegistration`, `year`, `offerType` | 102000, 2012-01, 2012, Used |
| `fuelType`, `fuel`, `transmission`, `powerKw`, `powerHp`, `engineCc` | Petrol, Benzina, Manuale, 51, 69, 1242 |
| `sellerType`, `sellerName`, `sellerContact`, `sellerPhones`, `sellerUrl` | Dealer, Auto Lohne, +4944428882053 |
| `country`, `zip`, `city`, `street` | DE, 49393, Lohne |
| `images`, `url` | photo URLs and listing link |
| **With details:** `descriptionText`, `equipment`, `bodyType`, `color`, `seats`, `doors`, `gears`, `driveTrain`, `weightKg` | Sedan, Grey, 5, 5 |
| `previousOwners`, `fullServiceHistory`, `accidentFree`, `nextInspection`, `nonSmoking` | 3, false, true, 06/2026 |
| `emissionClass`, `co2Gkm`, `consumptionCombined`, `electricRangeKm` | EURO6, 115, 5.1 |
| `latitude`, `longitude`, `createdAt`, `priceNegotiable`, `vatDeductible`, `vehicleHistoryUrl` | 52.67, 8.25, 2026-10-19 |

`priceRating` is AutoScout24's own label: `top`, `good`, `fair`, `increased`, `high` or `toolow`. Some text fields (`fuel`, `transmission`, `descriptionText`) come in the site's language; `fuelType`, `bodyType` and `color` are always in English.

### Use cases

- **Car dealers and traders**: find underpriced cars, monitor competitors' stock and prices.
- **Price analytics and valuation**: market prices by model, year and mileage across European countries.
- **Lead generation**: dealer names, phone numbers and stock size.
- **Car buyers**: daily alerts for new listings that match exact filters.

### How to use

1. Set your filters on AutoScout24 and copy the search URL, or enter makes / models and filters in the input.
2. Optionally turn on **Include listing details**.
3. Set **Max listings per search** and run. Each listing is one dataset record.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "domain": "de",
  "makesModels": ["volkswagen/golf", "bmw"],
  "priceTo": 15000,
  "yearFrom": 2016,
  "fuels": ["petrol"],
  "sortBy": "newest",
  "maxListingsPerSearch": 500,
  "includeDetails": false
}
```

### Pricing

- **Listing**: one car listing saved to the dataset.
- **Listing with details**: one listing with its full details page (only when **Include listing details** is on).

Searches that fail or find nothing are reported as `error` records and are **not charged**.

### Tips and limits

- AutoScout24 shows at most **4,000 listings (200 pages) per search**. For bigger markets add several searches with price or year ranges; duplicates are removed automatically.
- Sort by **Newest listings first** and run on a **Schedule** to catch new cars as they appear.
- Online-purchase ("smyle") listings have no dealer details page, so they are delivered and charged as plain listings.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The actor reads publicly visible listings. Use the data in line with AutoScout24's terms and data protection rules, especially for seller contact details.

**Which countries?** The listing data covers Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland.

**Something missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab and I will look at it.
