## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Shopping Scraper: Prices, Discounts, Stores & Ratings

Get **products from Google Shopping** for any search. Each product comes with the **current price**, **old price and % discount**, the store selling it (and whether more stores offer it), delivery and returns terms, **rating and number of reviews**, condition (new, used, refurbished) and Google's product IDs. One Google Shopping page has about 60 products. For more, this Actor also sorts by rating and tries related phrasings automatically, returning **200-400 unique products per search**. Works in 13 countries with local currency. Fast HTTP requests, no browser.

### What you get

| Field | Details |
|---|---|
| Product | Title, Google product, group, catalog and offer IDs |
| Price | `price` as a number plus the text as shown, `currency` |
| Deal | `oldPrice`, `discountPercent` |
| Store | Seller name, `moreStores` flag when other shops sell it too |
| Terms | Delivery (e.g. "Free delivery by Tue"), returns (e.g. "30-day returns"), installments |
| Social proof | Rating (1-5) and number of reviews |
| Condition | new, used or refurbished |

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring and competitor tracking**: run daily on your product category and see who is cheaper.
- **Deal hunting and coupon sites**: set **Deals only** to keep discounted products with their % off.
- **E-commerce and dropshipping research**: find the best-rated products and their price points in a niche.
- **Market and brand analysis**: which stores and brands dominate a search, and at what prices.
- **AI shopping assistants**: live product data through the Apify MCP server.

### Pricing

**$0.002 per product** ($2 per 1,000 products), no start fee. Searches that return nothing are free.

### Tips

- Keep searches the way a shopper types them: "running shoes women", "4k monitor 27 inch", "lego star wars".
- **Max products per search**: 60 is one Google page (fastest and cheapest to run). 100-300 covers a whole category.
- Price filters use the price shown on Google, in the currency of the chosen country.
- `store` is the shop with the price shown. When `moreStores` is true, other shops sell the same product too.

### FAQ

**Which countries are supported?** United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, India, Japan, Poland and Brazil. Prices are in the local currency and the `currency` field states it for every product.

**Why are some fields empty?** Google shows only what the store provides: some products have no rating, no delivery terms or no old price.

**Is this the same as Google Shopping in my browser?** Yes, the same results, read at the moment of the run.
