## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Rumble Scraper: Videos, Views, Rumbles & Channels

Scrape **videos from Rumble**: keyword search with sort, upload date and duration filters, trending and browse pages, channels and user pages. Each video comes with its **title, URL, views, rumbles (likes and dislikes), comments, duration, upload date, live status and channel**. Channel and user pages add **direct MP4 links, tags, monetization, reposts, live stream date and channel followers**.

No login, no browser. You pay per video delivered.

### What you can paste

- **Keywords**: `bitcoin`, `election`, `ufc`, with sort (relevance, most views, newest), upload date and duration
- **Channels and users**: `TheDanBonginoShow`, `@RTDE`, `https://rumble.com/c/SimplyBitcoin`, `https://rumble.com/user/BonginoReport`, `https://rumble.com/c/RTDE/livestreams`
- **Any listing URL**: trending `https://rumble.com/videos?sort=views&date=today`, search `https://rumble.com/search/video?q=news&sort=date`

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `videoId`, `permalinkId`, `url`, `title`, `thumbnail` | 448466362, v7h6jsg |
| `views`, `likes`, `dislikes`, `rumbleScore`, `comments` | 92742, 657, 19, 638, 15 |
| `duration`, `durationSeconds`, `uploadDate` | 1:03:28, 3808, 2026-10-21T13:47:37+00:00 |
| `isLive`, `isUpcoming`, `watchingNow`, `liveStreamedOn` | true, 1910 |
| `channelName`, `channelUrl`, `channelType`, `channelVerified`, `channelFollowers` | BonginoReport, user, true |
| `position`, `input` | rank on the page |

Channel and user pages also give: `videoFiles` (MP4 URL, resolution, bitrate), `tags`, `isMonetized`, `isShort`, `isAgeRestricted`, `downloadable`, `reposts`, `width`, `height`, `channelId`, `channelThumbnail`.

### Use cases

- **Media monitoring**: track what is trending on Rumble today and which channels drive views.
- **Creator research**: compare channels by views, rumbles and posting frequency.
- **Brand and political research**: find videos about a topic and measure engagement.
- **Archiving**: collect MP4 links and metadata of a channel's videos.

### How to use

1. Add keywords, channels or Rumble URLs.
2. Set **Max videos per search / channel / URL** and the search filters.
3. Run and open the **Videos** view, or export to JSON, CSV or Excel.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["bitcoin"],
  "sort": "views",
  "uploadDate": "this-week",
  "channels": ["TheDanBonginoShow", "https://rumble.com/user/BonginoReport"],
  "startUrls": ["https://rumble.com/videos?sort=views&date=today"],
  "maxVideosPerSource": 100
}
```

### Pricing

- **Video**: charged per video record.

No start fee. Pages that fail are reported as `error` records and are **not charged**.

### Tips and limits

- Rumble shows about 25 videos per page; the actor follows the pages until your limit.
- Search and trending pages show rounded view counts (1.5K); channel and user pages show exact numbers.
- Rumble blocks datacenter IPs, so the actor uses residential proxy by default.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Rumble account?** No.

**Can I scrape a single video page?** Not yet; paste its channel or a search instead.

**Is it legal?** The actor reads publicly visible video pages. Use the data in line with Rumble's terms and local law.

# Actor input Schema

Channel names (TheDanBonginoShow), @names, or channel / user URLs (https://rumble.com/c/..., https://rumble.com/user/...).

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Any Rumble listing: search (https://rumble.com/search/video?q=...), trending and browse (https://rumble.com/videos?sort=views\&date=today), channels (/c/<name>, /c/<name>/videos, /c/<name>/livestreams) or users (/user/<name>).

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Applies to keyword searches.

## `uploadDate` (type: `string`):

Applies to keyword searches.

## `duration` (type: `string`):

0 = no limit.

## `maxRetries` (type: `integer`):

Each retry uses a new proxy IP.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave the default: residential proxy (Rumble blocks datacenter IPs). Pick a group only to force it.
