## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Truth Social Scraper: Profiles & Posts

Scrape **posts (Truths) and profiles from public Truth Social accounts**. Paste usernames or profile URLs and get every post with **text, date, likes, re-Truths, replies, upvotes and downvotes**, images and videos, link previews, **quoted posts** and re-Truths with the original post. Filter by date, include or skip replies and re-Truths, or keep only posts with media. Each account also gets a **profile record** with followers, following, post count, bio and website.

No login, no browser. Pay only per post and per profile delivered.

- **Usernames**: `realDonaldTrump`, `@WhiteHouse`
- **Profile URLs**: `https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump`

### Use cases

- **Journalists and political analysts**: archive and monitor what politicians and public figures post, with exact timestamps.
- **Market and news monitoring**: catch posts that move markets or headlines, then alert on keywords.
- **Research**: engagement over time, media use, link sharing and quoting patterns.
- **Dashboards**: schedule a run every few minutes or hours and keep only new posts with **Posts newer than**.

### How to use

1. Add usernames, profile URLs or IDs.
2. Set **Max posts per profile** and, optionally, **Posts newer than** (`7 days`, `2026-10-01`).
3. Choose whether to include replies and re-Truths, or only posts with media.
4. Run. Posts and profiles appear in the **Posts** and **Profiles** views of the Output tab.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "profiles": ["realDonaldTrump", "WhiteHouse"],
  "maxPostsPerProfile": 200,
  "postsNewerThan": "7 days",
  "includeReplies": false,
  "includeReblogs": true
}
```

### Pricing

- **Post**: charged per post saved to the dataset.
- **Profile**: charged per profile record (turn off **Include profile record** to skip it).

No start fee. Profiles that do not exist are reported as `error` records and are **not charged**.

### Tips and limits

- Posts come newest first. With **Posts newer than**, paging stops as soon as older posts appear, so frequent scheduled runs stay cheap.
- Only public accounts and public posts are available. Search, trends and comment threads need a login on Truth Social and are not included.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The actor reads public posts that Truth Social shows to every visitor. Use the data in line with Truth Social terms and data protection rules.

**Something missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab and I will look at it.

# Actor input Schema

## `profiles` (type: `array`):

Usernames (realDonaldTrump, @WhiteHouse), profile URLs (https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump) or numeric account IDs.

## `maxPostsPerProfile` (type: `integer`):

Newest first. 0 = profile only, no posts.

## `postsNewerThan` (type: `string`):

Optional. A date (2026-10-01) or a relative period: '7 days', '2 weeks', '3 months'. Older posts are skipped and paging stops.

## `postsOlderThan` (type: `string`):

Optional. A date (2026-10-15) or relative period. Newer posts are skipped.

## `includeReplies` (type: `boolean`):

Also the account's replies to other posts.

## `includeReblogs` (type: `boolean`):

## `maxRetries` (type: `integer`):
