$2.00 / 1,000 job results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Unified ATS Jobs API — Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby

Read published job openings from three applicant-tracking systems through their public JSON endpoints and receive one consistent, machine-readable Apify dataset. Designed for job-research workflows, approved integrations, and AI agents that need standardized public vacancy records.

**Note:** Jobs come from employers' public job boards. Job descriptions belong to the employers; check their terms before republishing descriptions.

### What it does

- Fetches currently published openings from **Greenhouse Job Board API**, **Lever Postings API**, and **Ashby Job Postings API**.
- Normalizes each job into **17 fields**: source, company, jobId, title, department, team, locations, remote, employmentType, compensation, postedAt, updatedAt, applyUrl, jobUrl, descriptionText, descriptionHtml, scrapedAt.
- Filters on job-title keywords, locations, departments, an explicit remote flag, and publication age.
- Reads structured compensation when provided by **Lever or Ashby**; Greenhouse's **list** API usually does not return structured salary information.
- Supports `onlyNew`: returns only jobs your earlier runs of the same query (or the same `stateKey`) have not returned yet.
- Reports unavailable boards and source errors in the run's `OUTPUT` record rather than making up job data.

This Actor uses official public JSON endpoints and **does not apply for jobs**, sign in to employer accounts, bypass CAPTCHA, or access internal vacancy boards.

### Input

Company identifiers are the **ATS job-board tokens**, not always the company display name. Prefix each token with its provider for predictable routing. Without a prefix, the Actor tries all three providers.

```json
{
  "companies": ["greenhouse:figma", "lever:metr", "ashby:linear"],
  "postedSinceDays": 30,
  "maxJobs": 100,
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "locations": [],
  "departments": [],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "onlyNew": true,
  "includeHtml": false
}
```

Each run returns up to **10,000** jobs (`maxJobs`). Pricing: **$2 per 1,000 jobs** returned (pay per result).

### Output

One dataset record per published job. For illustration only (synthetic record, **not** a live job offer):

```json
{
  "source": "ashby",
  "company": "example",
  "jobId": "example-001",
  "title": "Software Engineer",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": null,
  "locations": ["Remote"],
  "remote": true,
  "employmentType": null,
  "compensation": {
    "min": 90000,
    "max": 130000,
    "currency": "USD",
    "period": "year"
  },
  "postedAt": "2026-10-20T09:00:00Z",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/example/apply",
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/example/job",
  "descriptionText": "Illustrative description only.",
  "descriptionHtml": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-22T10:00:00Z"
}
```

Source-specific API responses can omit salary, accurate remote status, departments, or publication dates. Unavailable values are represented as `null`; no salary is inferred from free text. Jobs without a known publication date are excluded when `postedSinceDays` is set.

### Limits and practical details

- `onlyNew` is currently **Actor-wide** across successful runs, **not isolated per customer**. Per-customer deduplication is a required future safeguard before multi-customer use. Do not interpret it as a private inbox for each buyer.
- Greenhouse individual-job pay transparency is not fetched: only the permitted list endpoint is used.
- Source names/tokens must correspond to real boards. A source-qualified unknown board produces an HTTP 404 report.
- The Actor stops at `maxJobs`; if the limit is hit before every source is processed, the dataset is incomplete by design.
- Apify platform usage can incur costs even when the private owner preview does not trigger a pay-per-event charge.
- Rate-limited read-only GET requests only, no proxies and no redirects.

### Provider documentation and commercial rights

- [Greenhouse Job Board API](https://docs.greenhouse.io/job-board)
- [Lever Postings API](https://github.com/lever/postings-api)
- [Ashby public Job Postings API](https://developers.ashbyhq.com/docs/public-job-posting-api)

These references document access for publishing employers' career pages; they do not establish general third-party resale rights. An explicit legal and commercial review is required before listing this Actor in Apify Store.

**Current status:** Private preview only. No Store publication, price, billing event, customer access, or payout configuration has been enabled.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

greenhouse:stripe, lever:lever, ashby:Ashby, or unqualified name

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Case-insensitive title substrings; any keyword can match.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Case-insensitive geographic location substrings.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Case-insensitive department name substrings.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only include jobs explicitly marked remote.

## `postedSinceDays` (type: `integer`):
