## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Apple App Store Reviews Scraper & App Details

Scrape Apple App Store reviews (rating, title, text, version, date) and full app details (rating, ratings count, price, genre, version, developer) for any app and 150+ country stores. Search by keyword too.

### What does it do?

Scrape **Apple App Store reviews and app details** for any app in **150+ country stores** using Apple’s official public iTunes endpoints. Reviews include **rating, title, text, app version, date and vote counts**. App details include **average rating, ratings count, current-version rating, price, genres, developer, version & release notes, size, content rating, languages, description and screenshots**. Find apps by keyword and filter reviews by stars (e.g. only 1–2★ complaints).

### Why use it?

- Product teams: mine feature requests and bugs from reviews.
- Competitor analysis: compare ratings and complaints across countries.
- Sentiment analysis and AI summaries of customer feedback.
- ASO (App Store Optimization) research.

### Quick start

1. Click **Try for free** / **Start**.
2. Paste your list (the example input already works – just press Start).
3. Download results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or use the API, schedules and integrations (Make, Zapier, n8n, Slack, Google Sheets…).

  "countries": ["us", "gb"],
  "maxReviewsPerApp": 100,
  "maxRating": 2

}
```
### Pricing
Pay only for results: **$0.60 per 1,000 results** (pay-per-event). No subscription. Platform usage is included in the price. You can set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops before exceeding it.
### FAQ
**How many reviews can I get?**
Apple exposes up to 500 of the latest reviews per app and country (10 pages × 50). Use several countries for more.
**Why is it not instant?**
We pace requests to respect Apple’s public rate limits, which keeps runs reliable.
**Personal data?**
Only the public review and the reviewer’s public nickname are returned. Use the data in line with GDPR and Apple’s terms.
### Legal & responsible use
This Actor only accesses publicly available data and official public APIs, respects robots.txt where applicable and paces its requests. You are responsible for using the results in line with applicable laws (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) and the terms of the data sources.
### Support
Found a bug or need a feature? Open an issue on the Actor’s **Issues** tab – we usually reply within 24 hours. Check our other tools: Website SEO & Broken Link Auditor, B2B Lead & Tech Stack Intelligence, Shopify Product Scraper and ATS Jobs Scraper.
