## Pricing

from $3.40 / 1,000 brand kits

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Website Brand Kit Extractor: Logo, Colors & Fonts from Any Website

Give it a list of company websites and get back each company's **brand kit** as one clean row: the **logo URL**, favicon and app icons, the **primary brand color**, a ranked **color palette** taken from the site's own CSS, the logo's own colors, and the **fonts** the site uses (Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts or self-hosted, with a heading font and a body font).

It reads only the **company's own public website** (HTML, CSS files, the logo file), respects robots.txt and never runs a browser, so it is fast and cheap: **$4 per 1,000 websites**, and sites that fail or give nothing are free.

### What does it extract?

**Logo and icons**

- `logoUrl`: the best logo candidate, ranked from four kinds of evidence: the schema.org `Organization.logo`, a logo image in the page header (class, id, alt text or file name containing "logo", brand name match), the apple-touch icon or web-app manifest icon, and the Open Graph image as a last resort. Partner, client, award and payment logos are pushed down.
- `logoCandidates`: the top 5 candidates with where each was found and a score, so you can pick differently.
- `logoIsInlineSvg`: true when the header logo is drawn inline as SVG (no separate file).
- `favicon` (SVG or largest size first), `appleTouchIcon`, `maskIcon`, `ogImage`, and the web app `manifest` (name, theme and background color, largest icon).

**Colors**

- `primaryColor` with `primaryColorSource`: a brand CSS variable such as `--primary` or `--brand`, else the logo's dominant color, else the mask-icon / theme-color, else the most used vivid color in the CSS.
- `palette`: up to 8 brand colors from the site's CSS, near-duplicates merged, ranked by how much they are used (backgrounds weigh more than borders), with each color's share.
- `neutralColors`: the whites, greys and near-blacks the site uses.
- `logoColors`: the logo file's own dominant colors (SVG fills or image pixels).
- `brandCssVariables`: CSS custom properties named primary / brand / accent / secondary / theme / cta and their values.
- `themeColor`: the `theme-color` meta tag.

**Fonts**

- `fonts`: the families declared in the CSS with how often they are used and where they come from (Google Fonts, self-hosted `@font-face`, Adobe Fonts, system).
- `headingFont` and `bodyFont`: from the `h1`/`h2` and `body`/`html` rules or font CSS variables.
- `googleFonts` (families loaded from Google Fonts) and `adobeFontsKit` (the Adobe Fonts kit id).

Plus `name` (from schema.org, `og:site_name` or the title) and `description`.

### Who is it for?

- **Designers and agencies** preparing a pitch, a mock-up or an onboarding deck in a client's colors.
- **Sales and marketing tools** that personalize demos, emails or landing pages with a prospect's logo and colors.
- **SaaS products** that pre-fill a new customer's branding (white-label portals, invoices, booking pages).
- **Lead enrichment**: add logos to a CRM or a company directory.
- **Brand and design researchers** comparing palettes and typography across a sector.

Sites that cannot be reached or show a bot check come back with an `error` note and are free.

### How much does it cost?

You pay **$0.004 per website with a brand kit** ($4 per 1,000) plus a one-time $0.001 actor start. Sites that fail or where nothing is found are pushed for free. Runs need only 256 MB.

- **20 prospects** for this week's pitches: about $0.08.
- **1,000 companies** in a CRM to enrich with logos and colors: about $4.
- **10,000 Shopify stores** for a design-trend study: about $40.

Higher Apify plans get automatic volume discounts.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?** The actor reads files that every website serves publicly to every visitor (its HTML, CSS and logo), respects robots.txt and never logs in. Logos and fonts remain the property of their owners: use them to identify the company (directories, CRM, pitches), not to imitate it, and check font licenses before reusing a font.

**Why is the logo sometimes an icon?** Some sites draw their header logo as inline SVG, so there is no logo file to link. Then the best file is the app icon or favicon, and `logoIsInlineSvg` is true.

**Does it run JavaScript?** No. Colors and fonts come from the site's HTML and CSS files, which is where they are defined. Sites that build everything client-side may return fewer colors.

**How is the primary color chosen?** In this order: a CSS variable explicitly named primary or brand, the logo's main vivid color, the mask-icon or theme-color, other brand variables, then the most used vivid color. `primaryColorSource` tells you which one won.

### Integrations

Export as JSON, CSV or Excel, call it from the Apify API, schedule it, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, HubSpot or a webhook to brand every new lead automatically.

### Changelog

- **0.1** (Nov 2026): first release: logo ranking, icons and manifest, CSS palette with brand variables, logo colors, Google / Adobe / self-hosted fonts.

# Actor input Schema

## `websites` (type: `array`):

Company websites or domains, one per line (e.g. stripe.com). The actor reads only these websites' own public HTML, CSS and image files.

## `logoColors` (type: `boolean`):

Download the chosen logo (SVG or image, max 2 MB) and return its dominant colors in `logoColors`. Also helps pick the primary color.

## `maxStylesheets` (type: `integer`):

How many of the site's CSS files to read for colors and fonts (inline styles are always read). 0 = inline only, fastest.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many websites to read in parallel.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many websites.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "websites": [
  "maxStylesheets": 4,
  "maxConcurrency": 8,
  "maxResults": 1000
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One row per input as JSON items in the run's default dataset (also downloadable as CSV/Excel from the dataset).
