## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper: Products, Prices & Stock

Get the full product catalogue of any **Tiendanube** (Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile) or **Nuvemshop** (Brazil) online store: names, prices, promo prices, stock, SKUs, variants (size / color), categories, tags and images. Works with custom domains (`mystore.com.ar`) and `*.mitiendanube.com` subdomains.

No login, no browser, no API key. Tiendanube powers more than 180,000 shops in Latin America, and most of them are not covered by generic e-commerce scrapers built for Shopify or WooCommerce.

### What does Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper do?

Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper extracts the product catalog of any Tiendanube (Spanish) or Nuvemshop (Portuguese) online store: product names, prices, promotional prices, stock, variants, images and categories. Use it for competitor price monitoring, catalog exports and e-commerce market research in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia, without a login.

### How to use Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper

1. Click **Try for free** on this page (a free Apify account is enough to start).
2. Fill in the input (see the examples below) or keep the prefilled example.
3. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
4. Download the results from the **Output** tab as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them with the Apify API.
5. Optional: create a **Schedule** to run it daily or weekly, and connect a webhook or an integration (Make, Zapier, n8n, Slack).

### What you can use it for

- **Price monitoring**: track competitors' prices and promotions every day (schedule the Actor and compare runs).
- **Stock tracking**: see which products and variants go out of stock, and when they come back.
- **Catalogue migration**: export a store you own to CSV/JSON before moving to another platform.
- **Market research**: compare price ranges across brands in a category (cosmetics, fashion, food, home).
- **Dropshipping and resellers**: keep your copy of a supplier's catalogue up to date.

### How it works

1. Give it one or more store URLs (home page, catalogue `/productos/`, a category page, or single product pages).
2. The Actor reads the public catalogue pages and the structured data (schema.org) every Tiendanube theme publishes.
3. With **Include variants** on, it also opens each product page to get every variant with its own price, compare-at price and stock.

It is deliberately gentle: 2 parallel requests by default, a 1-second pause before each request, and it **obeys each store's robots.txt** (for example, it never touches `/search/`, `/checkout/` or `/account/`). It does not collect any personal data about shoppers or store owners.

### Input example

```json
{
    "startUrls": [
        { "url": "https://www.companiadechocolates.com" },
        { "url": "https://tierramiabio.com.ar" }
    ],
    "maxProductsPerStore": 200,
    "includeVariants": true
}
```

| Field | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `startUrls` | (required) | Store, category or product URLs. |
| `maxProductsPerStore` | 100 | Stop after N products per store. |
| `includeVariants` | false | Open each product page for variants, categories, tags and gallery. Slower. |
| `maxPagesPerStore` | 50 | Pagination safety limit. |
| `maxConcurrency` | 2 | Parallel requests (max 5). |
| `maxRequestsPerMinute` | 30 | Global rate limit. |
| `delayBetweenRequestsSecs` | 1 | Pause before each request. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | none | Optional; most stores don't need it. |

### Output example

One item per product (shortened):

```json
{
    "platform": "tiendanube",
    "storeUrl": "https://www.companiadechocolates.com",
    "storeName": "Compañía de Chocolates: Desayunos & Chocolates a Domicilio",
    "storeId": 1848220,
    "productId": 370939216,
    "name": "Desayuno para MAMA",
    "url": "https://www.companiadechocolates.com/productos/desayuno-para-mama-1xxwl/",
    "sku": "PDESAYUNOS0002",
    "price": 118000,
    "currency": "ARS",
    "compareAtPrice": null,
    "onSale": false,
    "inStock": true,
    "stockQuantity": null,
    "imageUrl": "https://acdn-us.mitiendanube.com/stores/001/848/220/products/dsc09162-...-480-0.webp",
    "categories": ["Desayunos"],
    "variantCount": 8,
    "variants": [
        { "variantId": 1608827428, "options": ["Pavlova"], "price": 118000, "compareAtPrice": null, "stock": null, "available": true }
    ],
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-26T04:33:14.606Z"
}
```

`stockQuantity` / `stock` are only filled when the store shows stock publicly; otherwise they are `null` and `inStock` / `available` tell you if the product can be bought. `onSale` is only known in variants mode. A run summary (products per store, stores that were not Tiendanube, failed requests) is saved in the key-value store as `RUN_SUMMARY`.

Download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the Apify API.

### Pricing

Pay per result, no monthly fee:

- **$1.50 per 1,000 products** in catalogue mode (`product` event).
- **$4.00 per 1,000 products** with variants, categories and gallery (`product-detailed` event).

A store with 500 products costs about $0.75 in catalogue mode.

### Tips

- Schedule it daily with the same input to build a price history.
- If a URL is not a Tiendanube / Nuvemshop store, the Actor skips it and lists it in `RUN_SUMMARY.notTiendanube`.
- If a run extracts zero products, it is marked as **failed** instead of "succeeded with an empty dataset", so you notice right away.

### Legal

The Actor only reads pages that are publicly available to any visitor and respects robots.txt. You are responsible for how you use the data (e.g. copyright on product photos and descriptions belongs to each store). This Actor is not affiliated with Tiendanube / Nuvemshop.

### Why use Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper

- **Made for Tiendanube / Nuvemshop.** It reads the structured product data that every Tiendanube theme publishes, so it works on custom domains (`mystore.com.ar`) and on `*.mitiendanube.com` stores alike. Generic Shopify / WooCommerce scrapers usually do not.
- **Two price levels.** A quick catalogue pass (name, price, stock, image) costs less than a full pass with every variant, category and gallery image. You pick per run.
- **No browser, no login, no proxy for most stores.** That keeps runs fast and small.
- **Honest failures.** URLs that are not Tiendanube stores are skipped and listed in `RUN_SUMMARY`, and a run with zero products is marked as failed instead of finishing "successfully" with an empty dataset.

### Cost examples

Prices at the current pay-per-event rates (see Pricing). You can set a maximum charge per run in the run options.

| Job | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| 100 products, catalogue mode | about $0.15 |
| 1,000 products, catalogue mode | about $1.50 |
| 1,000 products with variants | about $4.00 |
| 4 weekly price checks of 3 stores x 300 products (catalogue mode) | about $5.40 |

### Use it from your code, an integration or an AI agent

**Python** (`pip install apify-client`):

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("latamdatatools/tiendanube-store-scraper").call(run_input={
    "startUrls": [
        {
            "url": "https://www.companiadechocolates.com"
        }
    ],
    "maxProductsPerStore": 20
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```

**JavaScript / Node.js** (`npm install apify-client`):

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>' });
const run = await client.actor('latamdatatools/tiendanube-store-scraper').call({
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://www.companiadechocolates.com"
    }
  ],
  "maxProductsPerStore": 20
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

**No code:**

- **Schedules:** run it daily or weekly from Apify Console (Schedules), with the same input saved as a Task.
- **Integrations:** send results to Google Sheets, Slack, email, Make, Zapier, n8n or Airbyte from the Integrations tab, or call your own webhook when a run finishes.
- **AI agents:** add it as a tool in Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients through the Apify MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`), so the agent can run Tiendanube & Nuvemshop Scraper and read the results.

### FAQ

**Can I call it from my own code or from an AI agent?** Yes. Start runs and fetch results with the Apify API or the JavaScript / Python clients, or use it as a tool from Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients through the Apify MCP server (`mcp.apify.com`).

**Can I run it automatically?** Yes. Create a Schedule in Apify Console (for example every morning) and add a webhook or an integration to get the results where you need them.

**Which export formats are available?** JSON, JSONL, CSV, Excel (XLSX), XML, RSS and HTML table, from the Output tab or the API.

**What does it cost?** See the Pricing section above. You only pay for the events listed there.

**Does it work with Nuvemshop stores in Brazil?** Yes. Nuvemshop is the Brazilian brand of the same platform. Prices come in each store's own currency (`currency` field: ARS, BRL, MXN and so on).

**Can I search products across all Tiendanube stores?** No. You give it the stores (or category / product URLs) you care about; it does not discover stores by keyword.

**Are URLs that are not Tiendanube stores charged?** No. You only pay per product extracted. Other URLs are skipped and listed in `RUN_SUMMARY.notTiendanube`.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Store home page (e.g. https://mystore.com.ar), a category page, the catalogue page (/productos/) or single product pages. Custom domains and \*.mitiendanube.com / \*.lojavirtualnuvem.com.br subdomains are supported.

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many products for each store. Each product is one billable result.

## `includeVariants` (type: `boolean`):

Open every product page to get all variants (size/color) with their own price, promo price and stock, plus categories, tags and the image gallery. Without it, data comes from the catalogue pages only (much faster, one request per ~12-24 products).

## `maxPagesPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Safety limit for pagination.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel requests. Kept low on purpose to be polite with small shops.

## `maxRequestsPerMinute` (type: `integer`):

Global rate limit.

## `delayBetweenRequestsSecs` (type: `integer`):

Politeness delay applied per domain.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Not needed for most stores.
