## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters

Get every open job from company career pages in **one clean format**, whichever applicant tracking system (ATS) the company uses. Paste company names or career-page links and get titles, departments, locations, remote flags, salary ranges (where published), apply links and full descriptions.

It reads the **official public job-board feeds** these platforms publish for every company, so results are complete, fast and don't break when a careers page is redesigned.

### What you can use it for

- **Recruiting and sourcing:** track which companies are hiring for the roles you place.
- **Sales prospecting:** find companies hiring for a function you sell to (a company hiring 5 SDRs needs sales tools).
- **Job boards and newsletters:** fill a niche job board with fresh, structured jobs.
- **Market research:** hiring trends by company, department and location.

### Supported platforms

| Platform | Example link |
|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` |
| Lever (US and EU) | `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify` |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| Workable | `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| SmartRecruiters | `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` |

Don't know which ATS a company uses? Enter just the board name (for example `stripe`). The Actor checks every platform and uses the one that answers.

### Input

- **Companies:** links or board names, one per line.
- **Job title keywords:** optional, for example `engineer`, `sales`.
- **Locations:** optional, for example `London`, `Remote`.
- **Remote jobs only**, **Include full job description** and **Maximum jobs per company**.

### Output

One row per job (example):

```json
{
  "company": "acme",
  "platform": "greenhouse",
  "jobId": "4012345",
  "title": "Account Executive, Enterprise",
  "department": "Sales",
  "location": "London",
  "remote": null,
  "employmentType": null,
  "postedAt": "2026-09-20T10:14:02-04:00",
  "url": "https://boards.greenhouse.io/acme/jobs/4012345",
  "applyUrl": "https://boards.greenhouse.io/acme/jobs/4012345",
  "salary": null,
  "description": "Acme is hiring an Account Executive to...",
  "input": "acme",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-09-29T09:00:00+00:00"
}
```

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or connect it to Google Sheets, Zapier or Make.

### Pricing

You pay per job saved. There's no charge for companies with no open jobs. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the Actor stops cleanly when it's reached.

### Tips

- Schedule it daily to catch new jobs as they're posted.
- Only public job postings are collected. No login, cookies or personal data about applicants.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Career-page links (for example https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, https://jobs.lever.co/spotify, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp) or bare board names (stripe). Bare names are checked on every supported platform.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title or department contains one of these words, for example engineer, sales, marketing. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains one of these, for example London, Germany, Remote. Leave empty for all locations.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the full description text to every job. Turn off for faster, smaller results.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 means no limit.
