## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Intelligence: Apps, Markets, Tech

Analyze any Shopify store in seconds: **installed apps, theme, currencies, languages, international markets, countries it ships to, payment and buy-now-pay-later options, product count, price range, social links and contact email**.

Paste a list of store domains and get one clean row per store. Stores that aren't on Shopify are skipped and **not charged**.

### Who uses it

- **Shopify app developers and agencies:** find stores that use (or don't use) a competitor's app, and pitch the ones that fit.
- **Payment, shipping and localization companies:** find stores selling internationally, or stores missing Klarna, Afterpay or local currencies.
- **Investors and analysts:** size a store's catalog, pricing and international reach.
- **Ecommerce founders:** see what successful competitors run.

### What you get for each store

| Field | Example value |
|---|---|
| `storeName`, `myshopifyDomain`, `country`, `city` | Brand Co, brandco.myshopify.com, US |
| `currency`, `languages`, `marketCountries` | USD, \["en", "es"], \["CA", "GB"] |
| `shipsToCountries`, `shipsToCount` | \["US", "CA", …], 35 |
| `productCount`, `collectionCount` | 692, 48 |
| `priceMin`, `priceMedian`, `priceMax` | 4, 75, 165 |
| `newestProductDate` | 2026-09-25 |
| `theme`, `themeStoreId` | Dawn, 887 |
| `apps` | \["Klaviyo", "Yotpo", "Attentive", "Gorgias"] |
| `paymentOptions` | \["Shop Pay Installments", "Klarna", "PayPal", "Apple Pay"] |
| `social` | Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube links |
| `contactEmails` | support@brandco.com (only addresses on the store's own domain) |

Apps detected include Klaviyo, Omnisend, Attentive, Postscript, Judge.me, Yotpo, Okendo, Loox, Stamped, Gorgias, Zendesk, Tidio, ReCharge, Smile.io, Rebuy, Searchanise, Boost Commerce, Weglot, LangShop, PageFly, GemPages, Hotjar, Triple Whale, Elevar and tracking pixels (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Google).

### Input

- **Store addresses:** `allbirds.com`, `https://www.gymshark.com`, one per line.
- **Visit as shopper from:** a country code (US, GB, AE, DE…). Stores show different currencies and markets per country.
- **Skip stores that aren't on Shopify** (on by default, and skipped stores are free).

### Pricing

Pay per store analyzed. Non-Shopify stores are free when skipped. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops cleanly at it.

### Notes

Reads only public storefront pages, the same ones any shopper's browser loads. No logins or private data. App detection is based on code the store loads publicly, so apps that run only in the store admin can't be seen.

# Actor input Schema

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Store domains or links, for example allbirds.com or https://www.gymshark.com. One per line.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code used to view the store, which affects currency and market. For example US, GB, AE, DE.

## `onlyShopify` (type: `boolean`):

Non-Shopify stores are skipped and not charged.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many requests run at the same time. Lower it for small or slow websites.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "stores": [
    "allbirds.com",
    "pangaia.com"
  ],
  "country": "US",
  "onlyShopify": true,
  "concurrency": 6
}
```

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "stores": [
        "allbirds.com",
        "pangaia.com"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("launchgulf/shopify-store-intelligence").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
