## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company Scraper (No Login, No Cookies) — $2.50 per 1,000 companies

Get public **LinkedIn company data in bulk** from a list of company URLs or names: industry, company size, employees on LinkedIn, followers, website, headquarters, founded year, company type, address and logo. No LinkedIn account, no cookies, no browser. Built for lead generation, sales prospecting, market research and CRM enrichment.

### Why use it

- **Low price:** $2.50 per 1,000 companies, no monthly fee.
- **No login or cookies:** reads only the public company pages anyone can open.
- **Lead-gen ready:** website, industry, size range and exact employee count to filter and score accounts.
- **Fast bulk runs:** thousands of companies per run, with automatic retries and fresh proxies.
- **Pay only for results:** companies that can't be found or are blocked are never charged. Set a maximum spend per run and the Actor stops at your limit.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event, no monthly fee.

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Company scraped | $2.50 per 1,000 ($0.0025 per company) |
| Actor start | $0.00005 |

Not-found and blocked companies are returned with an `error` field and are **not charged**.

### Free plan

Free Apify accounts are limited to **25 companies per run**. Any paid Apify plan removes the limit (up to 10,000 companies per run).

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| **Companies** | LinkedIn company URLs or slugs, up to 10,000 per run. |
| **Proxy configuration** | Apify Proxy is on by default and recommended. |

**Tip:** paste the exact company URL (`https://www.linkedin.com/company/notionhq`). A short name like `notion` can belong to a different company, because the name is the page address on LinkedIn.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "https://www.linkedin.com/company/shopify", "microsoft"],
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true }
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per company. Download as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API.

```json
{
  "slug": "stripe",
  "name": "Stripe",
  "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe",
  "tagline": "Help increase the GDP of the internet.",
  "description": "Stripe builds programmable financial services...",
  "website": "https://stripe.com",
  "industry": "Technology, Information and Internet",
  "companySize": "5,001-10,000 employees",
  "employeesOnLinkedIn": 16669,
  "followers": 1761439,
  "headquarters": "South San Francisco, California",
  "foundedYear": 2010,
  "companyType": "Privately Held",
  "address": { "street": "354 Oyster Point Blvd", "city": "South San Francisco", "region": "California", "postalCode": "94080", "country": "US" },
  "logoUrl": "https://media.licdn.com/...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-11T10:00:00.000Z"
}
```

Smaller companies may not show every field. Those fields come back as `null`.

### Use cases

- **Lead generation:** build target-account lists by industry and size, then enrich them with the website.
- **CRM enrichment:** add industry, size, HQ and followers to company records.
- **Market research:** compare competitors and track growth in followers and headcount over time.

### Tips

- Pair it with a jobs scraper to find companies that are hiring.
- Run it on a schedule to track follower and employee growth.
- Keep Apify Proxy on to avoid rate limits.

### Limits and legal

Collects only publicly available company information, the same pages anyone can open without signing in. It does not log in, use cookies, bypass authentication or collect private data. You are responsible for using the data in line with LinkedIn's terms and applicable laws. Not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
