## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Aggregator: Arbeitnow + Remote OK in One Feed — $0.60 per 1,000

Two open job-board APIs, one clean feed. Get **remote and European job listings** with title, company, location, remote flag, tags, salary (when stated), posting date and apply link, **deduplicated** across sources and sorted newest first. Every row carries **credit to the source**, as those job boards ask.

### Why use it

- **Cheap:** $0.60 per 1,000 jobs.
- **Filters:** keywords, location, remote only, posted in the last N days, minimum salary.
- **Lead angle:** each job names a hiring company, so the feed doubles as a list of companies that are hiring right now. Pass the companies to a lead or website scraper.
- **Fast and stable:** uses the boards' own open APIs, no scraping of protected sites.

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Job | $0.60 per 1,000 ($0.0006 each) |
| Actor start | $0.00005 |

Free Apify accounts are limited to **25 jobs per run**.

### Input

```json
{ "keywords": ["python", "data"], "onlyRemote": true, "postedInLastDays": 14, "minSalaryUsd": 80000, "maxItems": 500 }
```

### Output

```json
{
  "id": "remoteok:123456", "title": "Senior Python Engineer", "company": "Acme",
  "location": "Worldwide", "remote": true, "tags": ["python", "backend"], "jobTypes": [],
  "salary": { "min": 90000, "max": 130000, "currency": "USD", "period": "year" },
  "postedAt": "2026-10-14T08:00:00.000Z", "url": "https://remoteok.com/remote-jobs/...", "applyUrl": "https://...",
  "source": "Remote OK", "sourceUrl": "https://remoteok.com", "attribution": "Job listing from Remote OK (https://remoteok.com)"
}
```

### Honest limits

- These two boards expose roughly 1,500 (Arbeitnow) and 100 (Remote OK) current jobs, so this is a **fresh sample of remote and European jobs**, not the whole market. For LinkedIn jobs use a LinkedIn jobs Actor.
- Salary is stated by Remote OK only.
- If one source is down, you get the other and a note in the run status.

### Feedback and reviews

Found a bug, or want another job board added? Open an issue on this Actor's **Issues** tab and it will be looked at quickly. If this Actor saved you time, a short and honest review helps other people find it. Thank you!

### Legal and credit

Job data belongs to Arbeitnow (arbeitnow.com) and Remote OK (remoteok.com), which publish it for reuse with a link back. If you display these jobs, **credit the source and link to the job page**, which every row's `attribution` and `url` fields make easy. Not affiliated with either board.
