## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 bank or failure records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Bank Directory & Financials: Call Report Data & Bank Failures

*Unofficial tool. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any government agency. No government seals or logos are used. We are not a bank, and this tool provides no deposit insurance.*

Look up US banks and savings institutions and their quarterly financials, or export bank failures, from the public BankFind data. It's for fintech KYB and onboarding teams, bank-risk and treasury dashboards, analysts, journalists and researchers.

**Input:** bank names (current or prior), certificate numbers or states, status, and optionally the latest 1-8 quarters of Call Report financials; or failures since a date.

**Output (banks):** one row per institution: certificate number, name, status, insured flag as reported with its dataset date, address, county, coordinates, website, charter class and agency, primary regulator, RSSD id, LEI, holding company, total assets, deposits, equity, net income, ROA, ROE, offices, established and insured-since dates, specialization, community-bank and mutual flags, minority depository status, prior names and the BankFind record link. With `financialQuarters`: assets, deposits (insured and uninsured estimates), loans, securities, equity, income and expense lines, ROA / ROE, net interest margin, efficiency, capital ratios, noncurrent loans, charge-offs and employees per quarter.

**Output (failures):** name, certificate number, city, state, failure and resolution dates, transaction type, insurance fund, deposits and assets at failure, estimated loss and acquirer.

### Notice (in every row)

Data sourced from the FDIC BankFind Suite (https://banks.data.fdic.gov). This tool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are not a bank and are not FDIC-insured; this tool provides no deposit insurance and does not guarantee any institution's insured status or any coverage amount. Deposit insurance covers the failure of an insured bank and is subject to FDIC rules and limits. The "FDIC-insured" field is reported by FDIC as of the date shown and may be out of date — confirm at https://banks.data.fdic.gov or https://www.fdic.gov/resources/deposit-insurance/ before relying on it. Not financial, investment, or legal advice. FDIC makes no warranty about this data.

### Input

- `mode`: `banks` (default) or `failures`
- Banks: `names` (up to 20), `certs` (up to 500), `states`, `status` (`active` default, `inactive`, `any`), `financialQuarters` (0-8)
- Failures: `failedSince` (YYYY-MM-DD), `states`
- `maxResults` (capped at 150 when financialQuarters is set)

### Output fields

`type`, `cert`, `name`, `status`, `fdic_insured_reported`, `fdic_insured_as_of`, `city`, `state`, `zip`, `bank_class`, `primary_regulator`, `holding_company`, `total_assets_usd`, `total_deposits_usd`, `offices`, `report_date`, `website`, `established_date`, `address`, `county`, `latitude`, `longitude`, `charter_agency`, `fed_rssd_id`, `lei`, `equity_capital_usd`, `net_income_ytd_usd`, `roa_pct`, `roe_pct`, `prior_names`, `source_url`, `financials`, `failure_date`, `resolution_date`, `transaction_type`, `estimated_loss_usd`, `acquirer_name`, `source_data_as_of`, `notice`, `units`

**Units.** Fields ending in `_usd` are whole US dollars (the source reports thousands). `_pct` fields are percentages. `_ytd` = year to date.

**Privacy.** Institution-level data only. No officers, directors, contacts or any person's name.

**Opt-out.** Removal requests: support@lepidata.com (handled within 30 days).
Send the institution's certificate number; removed institutions are dropped from every run.

Free status rows (not charged): `no-results`, `invalid-input`, `source-error`, `free-plan-limit`, `charge-limit-reached`.

**Example:** `{"mode":"banks","states":["RI"],"financialQuarters":4,"maxResults":50}`

### Data source and compliance

- Source credit: US government public data from the BankFind Suite public API (no key needed today). One request every 2 seconds, at most 200 per run, a declared User-Agent with a contact address. If the source starts requiring a key, runs stop with a free source-error row.
- Not financial, investment or legal advice. Confirm on the official BankFind site before relying on a record.
- Free-plan accounts get up to 100 results per run.

**Pricing.** Pay per result: $0.80 per 1,000 records ($0.0008 each), the same price on every plan, no start fee. Free status rows are never charged.
