## Pricing

from $1.10 / 1,000 store with business contacts

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Finder – Business Emails & Phones by Domain

Give it **your own list of domains** and get one row per online store found in it: the store platform (Shopify or WooCommerce) and the store's **public business contacts**: role email addresses such as info@, sales@ or support@ on the store's own domain, and company phone numbers. This Actor does not search for or discover stores; it checks only the domains you supply.

### What you get

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `type` | `store` for a store with at least one business contact; free rows otherwise |
| `domain`, `url` | Domain checked and the home page reached |
| `platform` | `shopify` or `woocommerce` |
| `emails` | Role addresses only (every part before the @ is a word like info, sales, support, hello, orders, wholesale). Addresses that look like a person's name are never returned. |
| `phones` | Company numbers from the site's tel: links and its schema.org Organization/LocalBusiness data |
| `pagesRead` | Pages fetched for that domain (home page + at most 2 contact/about pages it links to) |

### Pricing

**$1.10 per 1,000 stores with a business contact** (pay per event `store`), the same price on every Apify plan. Free: domains that are not stores, stores with no business contact, unreachable or robots.txt-blocked domains, and limit rows. Set a maximum charge per run and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

**Free-plan limit:** Apify Free-plan accounts can check up to 50 domains and get up to 100 results per run. Paid Apify plans get full results.

### How it works

- At most 3 pages per domain: the home page, then up to 2 contact or about pages that the home page links to. It stops as soon as a role address is found.
- **robots.txt is respected**, including Crawl-delay; at least 1 second between requests to the same host. Only public https sites.
- If after 100 domains fewer than 2% are stores with a contact, the run stops with a free `low-hit-rate-stop` row.

### Your responsibilities

Contacts are public business addresses published by each store. If you use them for outreach, **you must follow anti-spam and marketing laws** (e.g. CAN-SPAM in the US, GDPR/PECR in the EU and UK, CASL in Canada): identify yourself, honor opt-outs, and do not send unsolicited messages where the law requires consent.

### Not affiliated

This Actor is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed, or supported by Shopify Inc. or Automattic (WooCommerce). The names are used only to describe the store platforms it detects.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Your list of domains or URLs. Each is checked once. Up to 5,000 per run.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "domains": [
    "allbirds.com"
  ]
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `items` (type: `string`):

All rows from this run.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "domains": [
        "allbirds.com"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("lepidata/store-finder").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
