## Changelog

### 2026-10-04

- **Coles stores near a postcode now work.** All three chains are returned for a postcode or a pair of coordinates, and every Coles row carries the store number you can paste into "Coles store number" to get aisles and shelf stock. Coles still publishes only today's trading hours, so the days-ahead column stays empty for Coles.
- "Supermarket locations" no longer finishes green and empty when it cannot answer. If a selected chain has no store directory to read, the run returns a free error row that names the chain and says what to do instead of leaving you with a blank table and a status message that counted stores it never found.
- A run asking for store locations no longer searches for products first: those rows were thrown away, and the requests were paid for.
- A chain is given up on far later. A refused page is now counted once however many times it is retried, so a couple of unlucky pages can no longer switch a chain off for the rest of the run.
- If your "Max cost per run" is lower than the price of a single row, the run now says so in the data and in the status message instead of handing back an empty result while reporting rows delivered.
- A price watch that correctly finds nothing changed is no longer reported as a failed run.

### 2026-10-02

- Memory is now sized to your input: small runs use less, large runs get more.
- The maximum cost per run is now applied correctly to comparison and store rows, each at its own price.

### 2026-10-01

- Rows are written and charged as they are found, so a run that is stopped or times out keeps everything it collected (comparison output is still written at the end).
- More retries per page, and an address that gets through is kept for the rest of the run.
- If Coles keeps refusing requests, the run stops asking it: Woolworths and ALDI still finish, and the untried Coles searches are listed in a free `NOT_ATTEMPTED` record.
- Runs stop early once your maximum number of items is reached.
- Fixed runs with a maximum cost stopping before they reached your limit.

### 2026-09-27

- Runs stop cleanly at your maximum cost instead of being aborted; nothing beyond your limit is written or charged.

### 2026-09-24

- ALDI products are no longer marked out of stock (ALDI sells in stores only); availability now reads "In stores", and the in-stock filter keeps them.

### 2026-09-16

- Initial release: Coles, Woolworths and ALDI in one run with the same columns (product, brand, size, price, was-price, discount, unit price, availability, category, link), a price-comparison mode that names the cheapest chain, price watching, nearby stores by postcode, category browsing and optional ingredients and nutrition.
