## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is TikTok Shop Reviews Scraper?

A review-mining tool for sellers, brands and product researchers: the full review history of any TikTok Shop product as rows you can read, chart or feed to an AI model.

- **What do buyers complain about?** All 1- and 2-star reviews of a competitor's best seller.
- **What changed this week?** Only the reviews posted in the last 7 days, scheduled daily.
- **What do buyers show?** Reviews with photos, the variant bought and the verified-purchase flag.

### What data can it extract?

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `reviewId`, `reviewRating`, `reviewText`, `reviewedAt` | The review: stars 1–5, text, posting time (UTC) |
| `reviewImages`, `reviewImageCount` | Photos attached by the buyer |
| `variant`, `skuId` | The variant (color, size, pack) the reviewer bought |
| `verifiedPurchase`, `incentivized` | TikTok's verified-buyer and rewarded-review flags |
| `reviewerName`, `reviewerId`, `reviewerAvatarUrl`, `reviewCountry` | The reviewer (name is masked by TikTok) |
| `productId`, `productTitle`, `url`, `country`, `sourceInput` | The product the review belongs to |

The run statistics (`STATS`) also give the total number of reviews TikTok shows for each product.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per review:

| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold and up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Review | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 | $0.0007 |
| Review from 22 October 2026 | $0.0015 | $0.00135 | $0.0012 | $0.00105 |
| Run start from 22 October 2026 | $0.005 | $0.005 | $0.005 | $0.005 |

- 1,000 reviews cost $1 on the free plan ($1.505 from 22 October 2026); a daily run that finds 50 new reviews costs 5 cents (8 cents from 22 October).
- Notices (a product with no new reviews, a link from another country) and errors are **never billed**.
- Set **Max cost per run** in the run options and the run stops by itself at that amount, with every delivered review paid for.

In tests on 8 October 2026: 250 reviews of a US product in 32 s; the reviews of the last 3 days (1,071) in 46 s; all 26 one-star reviews of a UK product in 28 s.

### How to scrape TikTok Shop reviews

### Use cases

#### Product research

Read every 1-star review of the top products in your niche before you source a similar one.

#### Brand and reputation monitoring

Schedule a daily run with `1 day` on your own products and send new low ratings to Slack or a Google Sheet.

#### AI review analysis

Feed thousands of reviews to an LLM for sentiment, top complaints and feature requests, through the API or the Apify MCP server.

#### Competitor teardown

Compare star distribution and complaints of your product and a competitor's, by variant.

### Integrations

Apify API (`POST /v2/acts/lergassy~tiktok-shop-reviews-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items`), Python and JavaScript clients, n8n, Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, webhooks and schedules, and the Apify MCP server.

### Troubleshooting

- **A notice "Full reviews are available for TikTok Shop US and UK products"**: other markets do not serve the review list on the web.
- **Fewer reviews than the limit**: the product has fewer reviews for the chosen filter or date; the run statistics show TikTok's total.
- **Need the product data too (price, stock, sales)?** Use [TikTok Shop Scraper](https://apify.com/lergassy/tiktok-shop-scraper), which can add reviews to every product row.

### ❓ FAQ

#### Does it need a TikTok account or cookies?

No. Nothing to log in to.

#### How far back does it go?

As far as TikTok keeps reviews: the full history of the product, up to 25,000 reviews per run.

#### Is it legal to scrape TikTok Shop reviews?

Reviews are public on the product page, and reviewer names are already masked by TikTok. Check that your use complies with TikTok's terms and with data-protection law in your country (GDPR, CCPA).
