## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Arapahoe County CO Lien Filings Scraper: UCC, Tax & Mechanics Liens

Search Arapahoe County, Colorado recorded lien and UCC filings by debtor, lender or document number. Get clean, structured records for B2B lead generation, lien monitoring, secured-lending research and due diligence — without reading the county's search screens one document at a time.

Arapahoe County is Colorado's third-most-populous county and part of the Denver metro. Its Clerk and Recorder indexes UCC financing statements, mechanic's liens, federal and state tax liens, judgment liens, lis pendens, releases and satisfactions as public records.

### What you get

- **UCC filings** — initial financing statements, continuations, amendments, assignments, partial assignments, partial releases, terminations and corrections, with the debtor and secured party.
- **Mechanics liens** — property owner, contractor or supplier claimant, recorded date, legal description, subdivision, lot, block and parcel references.
- **Tax liens** — IRS and United States tax liens, Colorado sales/use tax liens, releases, corrections and withdrawals.
- **Judgment liens** — judgments and transcripts of judgment with the judgment debtor and creditor, plus satisfactions and releases.
- **Lis pendens** — notice of lis pendens and releases, with the property owner and the party bringing the action.
- **Other liens** — assessment, attorney, agister, claim-of-lien and statement-of-lien records with releases and expungements.
- **Document detail** — reception number, document type and code, recorded date and time, book/page, page count, all indexed parties, legal description, subdivision, lot, block and parcel numbers.

Output is flat snake_case JSON, one row per recorded document. Every row links back to the public Arapahoe County search page for that reception number.

### Who it is for

- **MCA brokers, ISO and funders** — find businesses with fresh UCC filings, identify the incumbent secured party, and time outreach around new liens and terminations.
- **Equipment finance, factoring and commercial lenders** — monitor competitor secured-party activity, refinances and payoffs.
- **Credit, collections and recovery teams** — surface tax liens, judgment liens and mechanics liens against a debtor.
- **Construction and supplier credit** — find mechanic's lien claimants and the property owners behind them.
- **KYB, legal and due-diligence teams** — confirm lien chains, parties, releases and recorded legal descriptions.
- **Title, real-estate and tax-lien researchers** — pull lien and lis pendens records with parcel and subdivision detail.

### How to use it

1. **Recent filings** — leave the name and document-number fields empty to list the newest recorded lien and UCC filings. The default window is the last 30 days.
2. **Debtor search** — add one or more debtor, owner or taxpayer names. Partial names work.
3. **Lender search** — add one or more secured-party, lien-claimant or judgment-creditor names. Terminations and releases are matched by the releasing lender as well.
4. **Document lookup** — add exact Arapahoe County reception numbers such as `E6073475`.
5. **Filter** — choose lien categories, include or exclude releases, set a recorded-date window, and cap the number of records.

Searches are deduplicated across all terms, and records are returned newest first.

### FAQ

**Does this cover the Colorado Secretary of State UCC feed?**
No. This actor reads the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder index. It covers county-recorded liens, judgments, lis pendens and UCC filings recorded in Arapahoe County. The Colorado Secretary of State's statewide UCC feed is a separate source.

**Can I search by secured party or lender?**
Yes. Use the lender field. The actor searches the secured-party side and also matches terminations and releases where the lender is the releasing party.

**Can I get only new liens and skip releases?**
Yes. Turn off "Include terminations, releases and satisfactions" to return only new liens and active filings.

**Are mechanic's liens and tax liens included?**
Yes. Mechanic's liens, federal and Colorado tax liens, judgment liens, lis pendens and other lien instruments are separate categories in the same dataset.

**Does a record include the property?**
Where the county publishes it, yes: legal description, subdivision, lot, block and parcel/PIN. Property street addresses are returned when the recorder indexes one.

**Is this a consumer credit report?**
No. This is public-record research for business and legal due diligence. It is not an FCRA consumer report and may not be used for credit, employment, tenant or other FCRA-covered decisions.

**What happens when there are no matches?**
The run returns one uncharged note. You are not charged a result fee for an empty run; the normal actor-start charge still applies.
