## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Idaho UCC Filings Scraper: New Liens & Debtors

Idaho UCC filings are the public record of secured lending in the state. This Actor turns the Idaho Secretary of State UCC and lien indexes into clean, flat JSON for lenders, MCA brokers, equipment finance teams, credit analysts and KYB workflows. Search by debtor, secured party, lender, exact filing number, filing date, lapse date, city or state. Every record shows who borrowed, who holds the lien, where the parties are, when the filing was made and when it lapses. Use it for lead generation, portfolio monitoring and lien diligence.

### What you get

- Filing number, record identifier, legacy number and filing action.
- Filing category: initial, amendment, continuation, termination, assignment, correction or other.
- Filing date, filing year, lapse date and days to lapse.
- Normalized lien status: `active`, `lapsed`, `released`, `terminated` or `unknown`.
- Lien type: UCC financing statement, government lien, effective financing statement, crop lien or agricultural lien.
- Every debtor name and address, with street, city, state, ZIP and country.
- Every secured party, lender or lienholder name and address.
- The name and role that matched your search, plus all search terms that produced the record.
- Idaho's UCC processed-through date and the collection timestamp.

Output is flat snake_case JSON. Arrays contain scalars only. Missing values are `null`, never an empty string.

### Who is it for

- MCA, ISO and broker teams sourcing Idaho merchants with fresh secured filings.
- Equipment finance, factoring, invoice finance and commercial lending teams.
- Credit, collections and portfolio monitoring teams tracking new liens and released liens.
- KYB, legal, restructuring and due diligence teams checking Idaho lien exposure.
- Data teams that need Idaho UCC and lien records in a warehouse-ready format.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more organization debtor names, such as `SMITH` or a full company name.
2. Add individual debtor names as `Last, First Middle Suffix`, for example `SMITH, GAVIN A`. A bare last name also works.
3. Or add secured party names to find filings held by a bank, funder or equipment finance company.
4. Or add exact filing numbers such as `20132530175` to pull a known filing.
5. Optionally filter by filing date, lapse date, lien status, debtor type, debtor city or debtor state.
6. Choose the lien indexes to search: UCC, government liens, effective financing statements, crop liens or agricultural liens.
7. Choose whether to include amendments and lapsed filings, then set the maximum number of filings and run the Actor.

### Coverage and freshness

The Actor reads the Idaho Secretary of State public UCC and lien indexes. It covers UCC financing statements, government liens, effective financing statements, crop liens and agricultural liens, including amendment rows published in the index. `observed_at` records when the row was collected. `data_as_of` records the date Idaho says its UCC index is current through.

Idaho does not publish collateral text, document images, debtor phone numbers, debtor email addresses or officer names in the free public index. `collateral` is always `null` and `collateral_descriptions` is always an empty array. The Actor returns the parties, addresses, dates and status that the state does publish.

Very broad names can exceed the public index result limit. Add a filing date range, a city or a state to narrow the search. The Actor returns one uncharged error record when no filing can be retrieved.

The public index is not a certified search and it is not a legal opinion. Use it for research and workflow automation, not as a substitute for a certified UCC search.

### Pricing

$0.03 per result. Free users can preview up to 10 results per run. You are charged only for filing records that are delivered. If a run returns no results, no result event is charged. The small Actor start charge still applies.

### FAQ

#### Can I search by filing number?

Yes. Add one or more exact Idaho filing numbers in the `filingNumbers` field. Digits only is also accepted.

#### Can I search individual debtors?

Yes. Use `Last, First Middle Suffix` for the best match. A bare last name returns the broader set.

#### Can I search by secured party or lender?

Yes. Add lender names in `securedPartyNames`. Choose `organization`, `individual` or `any` in `securedPartyType`. This searches the UCC secured-party index and is useful for watching a bank, equipment finance company or MCA funder. Government liens do not support secured-party search; search a debtor name for those.

#### Does it include amendments and government liens?

Yes. Amendments are included by default and each row carries `is_amendment`, `filing_category` and `filing_action`. UCC and government liens are on by default. Effective financing statements, crop liens and agricultural liens are separate Idaho indexes and can be enabled individually.

#### How is the lien status determined?

Idaho publishes `Active`, `Released` or `Terminated` for initial filings. The Actor maps those to lowercase values. An active filing whose lapse date has passed becomes `lapsed`. Amendment rows often have no status in the public index and are returned as `unknown`.

#### Can I find every filing from a specific lender?

Yes. Use `securedPartyNames` with the lender name. Combine it with a filing date range or debtor state to keep the result set small.

#### Is this a certified UCC search?

No. It returns public records for research and workflow automation. It is not a certified UCC search and it is not a legal opinion.

#### What happens when there is no match?

The Actor returns one uncharged error record with `error`, `state`, `source` and `observed_at`. No result event is charged for an empty run. The small Actor start charge still applies.

# Actor input Schema

## `debtorNames` (type: `array`):

Organization or trade-name debtors to search, up to 20. Idaho matches by name and returns the debtor and secured party on each filing.

## `individualDebtorNames` (type: `array`):

Individual people to search as Last, First Middle Suffix, up to 20. A bare last name also works. Example: SMITH, GAVIN A.

## `securedPartyNames` (type: `array`):

Lenders, banks, funders or lessors to search in the UCC secured-party index, up to 20. Use the lender name, not the debtor name. Government liens do not support secured-party search; search a debtor name for those.

## `filingNumbers` (type: `array`):

Exact Idaho UCC or lien filing numbers, up to 20. Example: 20132530175. Digits only is also accepted.

## `securedPartyType` (type: `string`):

Search secured party names as organizations, individuals, or let the Actor infer the type. When set to any, a name written as Last, First is searched as a person and other names as an organization.

## `debtorType` (type: `string`):

Keep organizations, individuals, or both. The type is inferred from the published debtor name.

## `debtorCity` (type: `string`):

Only keep filings whose primary debtor city matches this value, case-insensitive. Example: BOISE.

## `debtorState` (type: `string`):

Only keep filings whose primary debtor address is in this state.

## `filingDateFrom` (type: `string`):

Only return filings on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Leave empty for no lower bound.

## `filingDateTo` (type: `string`):

Only return filings on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Leave empty for no upper bound.

## `lapseDateFrom` (type: `string`):

Only return filings whose lapse date is on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `lapseDateTo` (type: `string`):

Only return filings whose lapse date is on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `status` (type: `string`):

Filter by normalized lien status. Active means no termination and a lapse date in the future. Lapsed means the lapse date has passed. Released and terminated come from the state status.

## `includeUcc` (type: `boolean`):

Search the standard Idaho UCC financing statement index.

## `includeGovernmentLiens` (type: `boolean`):

Search Idaho government liens, including state tax and department liens.

## `includeEfs` (type: `boolean`):

Search Idaho effective financing statements for farm products. These are a separate index and may return no rows for most names.

## `includeCropLiens` (type: `boolean`):

Search the Idaho crop lien index. This is a separate index and may return no rows for most names.

## `includeAgLiens` (type: `boolean`):

Search the Idaho agricultural lien index. This is a separate index and may return no rows for most names.

## `includeLapsed` (type: `boolean`):

Include filings whose lapse date has passed. Turn off for active, released and terminated liens only.

## `includeAmendments` (type: `boolean`):

Include amendment rows returned by the Idaho index. Turn off for initial filings only.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order the delivered filings by filing date or lapse date.

## `maxFilings` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of filing records to deliver. Free Apify users are capped at 10 records per run.
